FACILITIES THE PARK AT ST. MARY'S The beautiful Park at St. Mary’s has transformed the historic St. Mary’s University campus with its
state-of-the-art facilities, including two bookend venues in Bill Greehey Arena and David Dickson Stadium. The Park features five facilities — all of which are served by training rooms, weight rooms and locker rooms — with a total capacity exceeding 9,000.
BILL GREEHEY ARENA
Part of the 135,000-square-foot Alumni Athletics & Convocation Center, the Bill Greehey Arena capacity exceeds 3,800, and the venue is home to two video boards and a hospitality suite that overlooks the spacious basketball and volleyball court. The facility hosts more than 40 Rattler home games each year in addition to numerous graduations, ceremonies, and national and international competitions, such as the NCAA Division II Women’s Basketball Elite Eight and the FIBA Americas U18 Championship.
ROHRBACH STADIUM
The remodeled, eight-court Rohrbach Stadium Tennis Complex serves as the home of St. Mary’s varsity tennis teams and has hosted conference and regional championship matches. The stadium seats 435.
SOFTBALL STADIUM
DAVID DICKSON STADIUM
David Dickson Stadium builds upon the steel structure — and the history — of the iconic V.J. Keefe Field, which was home to Rattler games for over 50 years and also served as home of the San Antonio Dodgers/Missions from 1964 through 1994. The new stadium seats more than 2,200 and brings fans to the edge of the game with left-field berm seating and box seats behind home plate. The stadium hosts 30 Rattler games each season and hosts baseball games of all levels year-round.
The sparkling venue rivals some of the best college softball stadiums in the nation, with a multi-use press box that also serves to host receptions and conferences on non-game days. With a seating capacity of nearly 1,000, the stadium has quickly become an ideal destination for regional, national and professional softball competitions, and also hosts nearly 30 Rattler games each year.
SIGMA BETA CHI FIELD
The soccer venue features a FIFA regulation-size field that hosts intercollegiate, professional, high school and club games, in addition to youth camps and clinics. The stadium, which seats 500, boasts prime visibility located adjacent to the campus’ primary entrance. /StMarysRattlers
