Our products are widely available

St Michel bathroom furniture is available nationwide through the best plumbing and building stores. However, because we offer such a broad range we can’t hold every item in stock. Consequently, we make most of our furniture ‘fresh’ once we receive your order. This might mean you can’t have immediate delivery, but you will be informed how long manufacture and delivery will take for the furniture you have chosen (dispatch times vary depending on the product). And rest assured, the wait will be worth it!

We offer good warranties and after sales service

If you follow our installation and care instructions it’s unlikely you’ll have any issues with St Michel furniture due to the care we take in designing and making it. However, if something does go wrong we’re here to help – although, please note, different products come with different warranties. Please check this detail when making your selection.

Onda Storage

Onda storage modules support tidiness and time management by providing a place for everything. They can be lined up side-by-side or stacked, making it easy to store and find cosmetics, skincare products and other smaller items. There are two Onda kits – Type A and Type B. You’ll receive the one that’s most suited to the New London vanity you choose. To see which kit applies for each model, refer to the New London selection charts.

Inset Basins

Inset basins are installed into the vanity top, allowing you to achieve a low-profile, streamlined look for your bathroom. If you have children, they might find an inset basin easier to reach and use. There are seven inset basins to choose from for New London vanities. They derive from our Scarabeo range and St Michel Selection. Scarabeo inset basins are made in Italy, have generous proportions and are fashioned from high-quality porcelain. St Michel Selection inset basins feature a choice of materials, colours, finishes and price points.

Vessel Basins

Vessel basins are mounted on top of the vanity and come in a range of materials and colours. There are 27 vessel basins for New London vanities, sourced from the Italian Galassia and Scarabeo brands, and the St Michel Selection. Galassia vessel basins are known for their fine finish, vertical sides and thin edges; Scarabeo vessel basins give your bathroom a touch of glamour, with their generous proportions; St Michel Selection vessels are aesthetically advanced, but also highly durable.

New London Small Space vanities deliver big benefits for tiny bathrooms, because the cantilever design maximises usable counter area. The 400mm New London Small Space can accommodate a soap dispenser, while the larger 550mm and 800mm sizes have the sort of bench area required by a powder room.

New London Mirror Cabinets

Every vanity cabinet in the New London range can be matched to a mirror cabinet of the same width, making it straightforward to design a bathroom that looks perfectly balanced. Mirror cabinets are also available in the full range of New London colour finishes. The storage that comes with a mirror cabinet is always a welcome addition. It’s ideal for skincare and hair products, medicines and first aid. The shallow shelves make it easy to quickly see what you’re looking for.

Cherry Pie® top & splashback

New London vanities feature premium, solid-surface Cherry Pie bench tops (60mm thick), which have the look and lustre of natural stone, but with all the durability and cleaning benefits of an engineered surface. All vanities 750mm wide and over, are supplied with a matching Cherry Pie splashback (20mm thick). Whether you install the splashback or not is up to you, however it provides a sense of unity because it matches the benchtop. Splashback is supplied 250mm high; if required; it can be trimmed on site by the installer. Finish / Carrara

Tell us whether you are planning to use wall-mounted or topmounted tapware, so that we can supply the correct benchtop configuration for your vanity. With New London, there are more than 30 basin options. Basin cost is additional to the vanity, so you can select according to your tastes and budget. The range includes our 4 Original London Cherry Pie basins, ceramic inset and vessel basins in both gloss and matte finishes.

Onda Storage

When you buy a New London vanity cabinet, you’ll receive a kit of Onda storage modules that’s suitable for your model – either a Type A kit or Type B kit. The Onda modules will fit perfectly into your vanity drawers and can be aligned or stacked to create the ideal configuration for your bathroom accoutrements. To see which kit applies for each model, refer to the New London selection charts.

Push-to-open and softclose

For a clean, uncluttered look, you can choose push-to-open technology – drawers open with a slight push and shut with a gentle soft-close action. You can even go hands-free by pushing with your knee. Whether you choose the premium push-to-open option or handles, all drawers have Hettich soft-close technology. Made in Germany, drawer systems come with a lifetime Hettich warranty. Push-to-open activating gap: when the drawer is closed the normal resting position can be 3.5mm off the cabinet. This is required to allow the push-to-open mechanism to operate..

Front and side panels

For five of the finishes available with New London - Slate Matte, Tusk Satin, Taupe Matte, Black Satin, Lana Grey Satin - both the front and the sides are made from Durashell, a surfacing material with good looks that are guaranteed to last. Durashell is resistant to knocks, chips and fading. For the Classic White Satin finish, the front is made from Durashell and the sides are made with Aqua Edge®, a panel material with a water-resistant melamine edge.

St Michel Dusk till Dawn cabinetry meets this challenge with in-built internal or external flicker-free LED lighting. Illumination is the new black. If you prefer a cabinet with handles, but still want the sophistication of LED lighting, our Dawn range is an elegant solution. The LED panel is integrated into the base of the cabinet to provide a soft glow of downlighting, which is enough for night-time navigation and many bathroom tasks.

Riva Classic sets the New Zealand standard for mid-priced drawer only bathroom furniture, offering an expansive range of basin and cabinet options, along with luxury softclose drawers. Palo 1500 Basin

The Palo 1500 is designed by St Michel and made in Europe by the leader in mineral cast technology. It is available in single or double basin format. We selected mineral cast over ceramic for this luxury length, because at 1.5m it ensures the basin holds true lines without bowing. The result is a product that maintains St Michel’s standards, providing a high quality basin surface, with a reassuringly solid feel that will keep its looks for years to come. All Jamie.J basin and sink mixers include hot and cold PEX core (Cross-Linked Polyethylene) stainless steel hoses. PEX hoses are superior quality, increasing durability as well as flexibility. PEX hoses will not break down or contaminate your drinking water and are resistant to chemicals such as chlorine.

Durable Finishes

Available in a range of durable finishes with increased resistance to scratch marks, abrasions and heat. All colours are electroplated.

All Jamie.J tapware is made from certified dezincification resistant (DZR) brass consistent with the industry standards for applications with high water temperatures or chlorides present.

Age old skill has gone into the making of this fine range of hand crafted ceramic tops individually selected by St Michel from specialist suppliers around the world.

Each ceramic top is unique – being both hand crafted and individually customised. The hygienically smooth surface glaze is wear and scratch-resistant. Because ceramic is fired at high temperatures some visual distortions will be evident, but we feel this adds to the natural beauty of the product.

In most instances your bathroom space needs to be prepared before furniture can be installed. The correct preparation will help ensure you get the functional and aesthetic result you want. It will also stop installation mistakes that may void your warranty and require costly repairs.
