These Maine influenced females have put a smile on our face all year long. We were lucky enough to purchase their mothers from the Smith Family a few years back. And their first calves for us did not disappoint. We haven’t had a lot of Irish Whiskey bred females on the ranch and after this set, it has caused us to rethink some things. We are quite enthusiastic about this offering of Simmental, Percentage Simmental and MaineAngus genetics. There is something for everyone in this offering of show heifers, cow and herdsire prospects. It is important to note these are not gathered from thousands of head from multiple operations these were all built within the two firms represented. DMCC, Mark Mueller has been a leader in the industry since the late 80’s and today with his son Matt, they are charging forward breeding the cattle they believe in! Incredible phenotype with performance in big bodied, good-looking packages! High Prairie Genetics, Luke Wood and his family have been a long time customer and friend of Mark and Matt’s and was a sensible addition to join the sale. Last year Luke came with a few, this year he brings close to 20 elite prospects.
