Cynthia Britt Roberts ’63 is still working in real estate an Associate Broker at Berkshire Hathaway Fox & Roach in Rosemont, PA. She and her husband, Doug, have 10 grandchildren.

Susan Lepis ’65 is enjoying retirement after a rewarding career working for the United Nations in New York, NY and teaching French at the Marine Academy of Science and Technology in Sandy Hook, NJ. She is an active member of a variety of local clubs and organizations, devoting her time to art, photography, and community service.

Margaret Mattson

’69, Ph.D. recently retired after 40 years of service in the federal government. She serves as the chairperson of the Alcohol and Other Drug Advisory Council of Montgomery County, MD.

Linda (Thatcher) Raichle ’70, Ph.D.

recently retired and is now enjoying her leisure time. She looks forward to getting back to traveling and enjoying time with her four grandkids. She also was recently appointed to the Holy Family Alumni Association Board of Directors.

Fastiggi ’71 retired after a fulfilling career as an English and German teacher. She and her husband, Charlie, will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary next year. They have been blessed with children, grandchildren, friends, and countless wonderful memories.

CSFN, ’71, a former Holy Family trustee, recently published her fifth book, a collection of short stories, Tales of the Anawim.

‘73 is the pastor of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Allentown, PA.

Maggie Jaster ’73,

Ph.D. completed 25 years teaching at Penn State Harrisburg. She is an associate professor of Humanities and English and was honored at a virtual Faculty Awards Ceremony on April 29.

Walsh ’73 retired after a long career in elementary education. She and her husband, Thomas, live in Turnersville, NJ.

John Coyne ’80 is the chief underwriting officer at Travelers Bond & Specialty Insurance. He and his wife, Jeanine, live in Oreland, PA.

’81, Ph.D. works at Holy Spirit Catholic School in Annadale, VA. She and her husband, Dave, live in Springfield, VA.

Jim Duffy ’82 was promoted to executive vice president of operations of Henkels & McCoy, Inc., which designs, builds, and maintains infrastructure for the utility and communications markets.

Teresa Dempsey ’87,

CRNP received the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award from Marquis Who’s Who. She works as an adult nurse practitioner and a parttime health evaluator for Signify Health.

Elaine (Hennessy) Cubbage ’88, M’92

recently retired after teaching for 37 years. She and her husband, Edmond, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary by taking their three children, their spouses, and six grandchildren to St. Lucia for 10 days in July 2021. Edmond just published his first book, Just a Kid from Swampoodle to Vietnam.

’95 earned an MBA in Health Services Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management in July 2020. She is an online tutor for students learning English as a Second Language.

Kling ’96 received the Einstein Healthcare Network Award for Community Service in May 2021. Karyn obtained an MSN in Nursing Education from Drexel University in December 2020 and celebrated 25 years of working with traumatic brain injury patients.

T Nong Lo ’96 serves as a police officer with the Philadelphia Police Department.

MSN, RN, NEA-BC has accepted a position as senior vice president and chief nursing officer at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL.

Ph.D., was featured in McGraw Hill’s “The Art of Teaching” project in April 2021. He is the principal of Clarence B. Lamb Elementary School in North Hanover Township School District in Wrightstown, NJ, and serves as an adjunct professor at Holy Family.

William Berry ’01 is a therapist and owner of Inner Wellness Therapeutic Services in Plantation, FL. He teaches at Florida International University and writes for Psychology Today. He also co-authored the textbook, Addiction: A Human Experience. John Rendfrey ’03 completed his 15th year of teaching at Paul VI High School in Haddon Township, NJ. He also holds a graduate degree in Theology and Philosophy from St. Mary’s Seminary & University in Baltimore, MD.

and Dennis Kilfeather ’05, M’11 and their two children live in Bucks County with their dog, Marvin, two ducks, and four chickens. Dennis was honored with a 2021 Alumni Achievement Award.

Marissa Pietrolungo

M’18, D’21, a cardiac ICU nurse at Temple University Hospital, was celebrated by NBC10 Philadelphia, as part of their Celebration of Women’s History Month in March 2021. She received the COVID-19 Courage Award in Leadership from the American Academy of Nursing in Fall 2020. Steven Footit ’16 was selected as one of three winners of Independence Blue Cross’ Celebrate Caring Foundation Awards. He obtained his nursing degree from Holy Family after serving 27 years in the Army. He also battled cancer and served on the front lines of COVID-19 as an ICU nurse at multiple hospitals in PA/NJ. Steve is donating a portion of his winnings to Holy Family’s School of Nursing & Health Sciences.

Melanie Ramirez ’18

works as a mental health technician. She lives in Bethlehem, PA.

Rachel D’Angelo ’19 is pursuing a Masters of Fine Arts Degree at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA). She was one of two students whose work was selected for the school’s Fourth Wall Exhibit (Winter 2021) and her work was featured in PAFA’s Annual Student Exhibition (May 2021). Mandi Gurecki ’19 is fulfilling her dream of becoming an emergency medical technician. On her birthday in November 2020, she became engaged to Alex Kubiak. The couple is planning to be married in June 2022.

Brett McCutcheon ’20 received a DAISY Award, an international program that rewards and celebrates the extraordinary clinical skill and compassionate care given by nurses every day, in his first year as a nurse at Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, PA.
