Highlights include our spectacular free firework show, a Spooky Halloween Walk, the Festival of Light and Colour, our bigger and better Stockton Sparkles, and lots of Christmas festivities. Halloween Events Wild Halloween Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 October 10am – 3.30pm RSPB Saltholme Come face-to-face with tiny bats and humongous spiders and have fun with creative crafts, spectacular tales and outdoor trails. Find out more about the weird and wonderful creatures that make their home at RSPB Saltholme and beyond, with hands-on wildlife workshops. Spooky Halloween Walk Thursday 31 October 6pm – 8pm Preston Park Museum & Grounds Are you brave enough to enter the Park on Halloween? We dare you to endure the spirits and ghosts who come out to play in the Hall and Park, looking for fresh souls to scare. Ghostly apparitions glide between trees as screeching vampires, howling werewolves, nasty bats and beasties pounce on the unprepared!

Stockton Sparkles returns, even bigger and better this year. Launching with an evening of festive music and lights, Santa and his friends are joined by a children’s Christmas choir and a brass band. Highlights include: Thursday 28 November The launch of Stockton Sparkles with festive music and lights, Santa and his friends, a children’s choir featuring over 1,000 children and a brass band, for this magical evening hosted by BBC Tees.
Wednesday 27 November – Sunday 8 December Christmas Market - For a whole 12 days the Parish Gardens will be transformed into the Christmas Market with a host of goodies perfect for Christmas gifts. Similar to last year there will be more than 30 cabins selling a wide range of gifts - such as candles, soaps, clothing and jewellery - decorations for the home plus lots of stalls offering festive fayre and the best in locally made produce. You can take a break and enjoy a bite to eat from the food cabin which includes traditional sausages, mulled wine and speciality coffees as well as sampling traditional sweets and Christmas chocolates.
Friday 6 December Mayor’s Carol Service - The Mayor of Stockton, Councillor Kathryn Nelson, will be spreading Christmas cheer as she hosts the Mayor’s Carol Service at Stockton Parish Church.
Sunday 15 December Reindeer Parade – Come and see Santa and his entourage of reindeers as he makes his way along the High Street on his sleigh. There’s also live dance, music performances and late night shopping throughout the town centre.

Bring the Happy Shop Project Monday 7 October - Saturday 2 November (excluding Sundays), 9am – 5pm Stockton Town Centre For three weeks the Invisible Flock Company will take over a shop unit in Stockton and transform it into a 3D map of the Borough. Members of the public can drop into the shop and pin one of their memories on the map. Bring the Happy Live attempts an extravagant portrait of happiness, as the 1000’s of memories collected from the Bring the Happy shop are retold in all of their beautiful, sometimes tragic, sometimes ridiculous and occasionally mundane glory.
