FINAL FRONTIER
Inside the Unknown Space season. “The expression has become synonymous with the period between the time scientists, and experimental captalist bring foward the new idea of space travel. Year after year the question is brought fourth, ”is space colonization possible, and if so who and where, and how is it going to be concieved.” A new dawn as reason, with the interesting possiblity, of reverting back to the way societies evolved, the primitive cave is now the way scientists have began to analyze the ideals of what shelter really is, and what it really means to be in the extreme brutal conditions of what is quite possibly is the unknown. The intention of the project is to view the new horizon of space exploration as a new step in human evolution. We have to go into space looking for a shelter to support our terrestrial human life. The original cave was crucial to our development in its ability to shield us from the elements. The design of the new space cave is to link the ideal of that habitation with the current best technologies we have which aid our state o f living. Notably, the work of Norman Foster, along with Arup, exemplifies the creation of ideal smart living environments, shown in the Florence High Speed Train Station. Through the understaning gained the potential of growth from the space cave to the primitive hut and so on, will continue its evolution on the journey through our cosmos, into the unkown searching for alternative ways of living and developing the means and technologies of really what it means to colonize the unkown.

Caves are the worlds final frontier inside Earth During the start of evolution in societies on earth the cave served as a shelter from the extreme conditions on earth. Inside the cave, offered protection against extreme winds for purposes of heat and starting fires. The naturalistic side of the cave is the idea of formation, created by natural flows of water that begins to carve over a long period of time into the earth, slow deposition of dissolved limestone create sturving viguals. When static might meets static height, a column is created. A cave is cut off from the outside world, created a new idea of unknown areas that begin to biforcate and create an enitre system into earth. The cave is a natural underground void large enough for a human to enter. Caves are complex evoloving systems.
3 types of Caves -Endogean_ The parts of caves that are in communication with surface soils, cracks and rock seams. -Parahypogean_The threshold regions near a caves mouth extends to the last penetration of sunlight. -Hypogean_ True cave environments. These can be regular contact with the surface viea wind and underground rivers.

Norman Fosters Florence High Speed Train Staion is an example on Earth on our capabilities and our latest stage of human evolution in the context of the built environment and what technologies that our emplimented. The task, to analayze and componitrize the existing structure, so we can further evolove what Norman Foster did in Florence and adapt that into space as the next sequence in our evolution as a species. The structure has a huge glass roof supported by a light steel structure. It measures over 45,000 square and will empose train galleries that are the masterpieces of the nineteenth century era. The project employs solutions for reducing energy consumption and pollutants emissions, and uses renewable resources. The roof will also have a multilayer system in which each component plays a different role: A series of diaphragms of variable structure guarantees environmental and acoustic conrtol, ans well as air exchange, emissions control and natural lighting. Platforms will be 25 meters below ground, while ticket offices, travel agencies, shops, and restaurants will occupy the ground floor. A series of routes marked by different graduations of natural light and artificial light will guide traverlers from one level to another through esculators and moving sidewalks. The station chamber consists of single volume, 454 meters and 52 meters wide, built using cut and cover techniques. Passangers move from the platform to ground level via lifts and esculators. Between the platform level and the street are two levels of shops.
