As a novice hunter Tui has the privilege of learning how to hunt with legends from all over Aotearoa. She is currently making a tv show called ‘Hunting with Tui’ due to screen in 2019. Hunting is in Ella’s blood. As the fourth generation of hunter in her family it’s not surprising that she’s grown up with an unquenchable passion for hunting. Josh’s backyard is the mountainous alpine and bush terrains of the wild west coast of NZ, where durability and technical performance count. Born and raised in Tairua on the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula, Ashlee grew up in a family of hunters which is where her passion for hunting began. With her husband (a keen hunter) and her two young sons, her passion for the outdoors and her drive to explore the wild grows with each day.

A self-proclaimed ‘converted city girl’, Moana now spends every waking moment out hunting and exploring the wild mountainous terrains of New Zealand. Gear versatility is key to Moana as she chases the seasons – in the alpine, chasing big game, in winter it’s pig hunting and the summer months spent game and spear fishing around the North. With a good understanding of technical layering systems, Moana relies on her Stoney Creek microplus mid layers and her ultra tough Stoney Creek rainwear layer to stay warm and dry throughout the seasons.

Born and raised in the cold depths of the South Island, Sarah’s passion for the outdoors comes from a childhood out following in Dad’s footsteps - hunting, fishing and exploring the hills around Otago. CARE AFTER EVERY USE:

DURABLE WATER REPELLENCY (DWR)

To extend the life of the garment and for best performance, use a small amount of non-scented LIQUID detergent. DO NOT use powder detergents, fabric softener or chlorine bleach. Powder detergents include artificial scents, UV brighteners and abrasives that will reduce the life of the garment.

Clean or wipe down any dirt, blood, sweat. Ensure your rainwear layer is fully DRY before you store it away. Storage, ensure that the environment where you store your garments in a dry damp-free place. Ensure rainwear items are hanging up and not stored in a cram bag or screwed up in a heap.

If you notice that the water is not beading off the outer surface it’s time to replenish the DWR. Wash your jacket through a standard wash cycle (use liquid detergent), then you can wash it again using an in-wash DWR replenisher (at 30°c) OR a spray on DWR Replenisher. Dry the garment at a LOW temperature in a tumble dryer or air dry.

After use, footwear must be cleaned with cold water, allowed to dry in a cool or warm place - DO NOT dry with excessive heat - then waxed or conditioned again. The maintenance of leather will help prevent drying, shrinking and cracking.

WARRANTY We guarantee our products will be free from material and manufacturing defects for 1 or 2 YEARS (depending on the individual warranty for the product). If it is under warranty we will repair it free of charge; if it is not practical to repair, we will replace it. The warranty does not apply to ordinary wear and tear, neglect or misuse of the product by the user or the natural breakdown of colours and materials over extended time and use.
