We firmly believe that our Joint Stabilizers offer a fast, efficient and permanent solution to rocking joints and cracks in concrete slabs on grade, whatever the environment. This uncontrolled movement can cause untold damage to vehicles and lift trucks, and if left unfixed, often leads to spalling concrete and further expensive concrete repairs. When added to reduced operational efficiency, potential safety issues, down time and damage to equipment, what seems like a minor problem can lead to significant and unplanned costs. This is why Joint Stabilizers have been designed for many differing environments including concrete highways, aprons and warehouses and because of their unique design, Joint Stabilizers work over a wide temperature range and can be utilized where snow plowing is required. Joint Stabilizers replace the need for more costly processes such as under slab grouting and replacement dowel bars and feature an internal mechanism which, when torqued into place, exerts 8,000lbs (36kN) at the interface with the concrete yet still allows the joints to expand and contract with the usual thermal cycle. Our system is designed to be simple to install with minimum downtime in busy facilities and, with the addition of an epoxy adhesive, can be used in concrete highway and airport situations.
