Elegance, luxury, and strength aren’t just qualities you’d associate with premium automobiles; they’re also essential features for the facilities that showcase them. This was the guiding principle behind a flooring project we undertook for a prestigious auto dealership.
Our journey began with a critical need identified by the dealership: a durable, slip-resistant floor for their mechanical shop. To meet this need, we proposed an ultra slip-resistant flooring system capable of withstanding heavy loads. Our team’s professionalism, coupled with the superior look and performance of the flooring, quickly earned us the dealership’s trust and the opportunity to tackle an even more ambitious project.
THE CHALLENGE
The next step was a step up in complexity. The dealership’s exterior walkways were in a state of disrepair - rough and uneven surfaces that fell short of the luxury and elegance the brand represented. The task was to transform 878 square feet of these walkways into a durable, aesthetically pleasing path that matched the dealership’s high standards of elegance and luxury.
THE STONHARD SOLUTION
After a thorough evaluation of the site and a deep dive into the dealership’s vision, we crafted a plan. We began by demolishing the existing rough concrete and then addressing the uneven areas with Stonclad UR, a polyurethane mortar system known for its durability. The finishing touch was Crush, a sophisticated, troweled system from our high-end commercial brand, Liquid Elements. This solution provided a bold, rich, and organic appearance, perfectly blending design with strength in a distinctive manner.
Through this project at a high-end auto dealership, we showcased our ability to meet and exceed the expectations of luxury brands, demonstrating how the right flooring can complement the essence of elegance, luxury, and strength that premium automobile brands embody.
