Stonhard was asked to deliver a high-performance, aesthetically pleasing, and durable floor suitable for the first North American Immersive Brand Centre encompassing Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-AMG, and Mercedes-Benz Vans.
This 135,000-square-foot facility required a flooring solution that could withstand high traffic from customers and vehicles while enhancing the luxurious, innovative environment Mercedes-Benz clients expect.
THE SOLUTION
To meet the extensive requirements of the Mercedes-Benz Toronto Queensway facility, Stonhard installed Liquid Elements Crush, a high-performance, versatile flooring system designed for both aesthetic appeal and durability. The Crush system mimics natural materials with options ranging from polished black marble to organic river rock, providing a luxurious and welcoming atmosphere that seamlessly complements the sophisticated design aesthetic of the dealership.
This flooring solution is not only visually striking but also exceptionally functional; it is slip-resistant and UV-resistant, ensuring safety and maintaining its pristine appearance under high foot traffic and extensive sun exposure. Additionally, Crush is easy to clean and maintain, which is essential for the high-traffic environments of an automotive showroom and service center. With the ability to customize the aggregate and choose between urethane and epoxy formulations, Stonhard delivered a tailored, high-quality flooring solution that met the specific needs of Mercedes-Benz’s Queensway showroom.
This project not only met the functional and aesthetic demands of a high-traffic luxury brand centre but also highlighted Stonhard’s capability to execute large, complex projects with precision and client-focused planning.
