We start the new decade with more brilliant drama on our stages: Peter Pan is on until 12 January, and Season 11 continues with black comedy The Suicide, the pioneering drama about four girls’ fight for the right to graduate Blue Stockings and a new version of the psychological thriller Miss Julie. West End hit Peter Pan Goes Wrong arrives in Chester, Saint Petersburg Classic Ballet perform Swan Lake and we welcome comedy heroes Jack Dee and Josh Widdicombe. With Golden Globes, Oscars and Baftas up for grabs, look out for some award worthy performances from Dev Patel in The Personal History of David Copperfield, Saoirse Ronan in Little Women and Charlize Theron in Bombshell. BFI Musicals continue as we turn the clock back to the 1930s for an all-singing, all-dancing weekend. Celebrate Chester’s diverse speaking cultures at Storyhouse Languages with KPop in the Kitchen, an international Food Market, and the Wah Lei Chinese Association will welcome in the Year of the Rat! Enjoy!
