OUR ATTENTION NOW TURNS TO THE SUFFOLK CUP QUARTER-FINAL, WHERE WE WILL PLAY HOST TO HADLEIGH.

On Saturday, our team journeyed to Framlingham Reserves for the semi-final of the league cup, marking the fourth time we’ve faced them this season. Despite having won the previous three matches against them, Framlingham had shown steady improvement in each game and ultimately secured a welldeserved victory over us with a score of 4-1.

Our lone goal, scored by Liam Knights, was not enough on the day. This loss marks our second consecutive defeat, following a ten-game unbeaten streak in all competitions.

We now look forward to a crucial home game against the highly-ranked Wivenhoe Town Reserves this Saturday, where we aim to demonstrate our resilience and secure much-needed points. Our attention then turns to the Suffolk Cup quarter-final, where we will play host to Hadleigh (date still to be confirmed).

Lastly, I would like to extend my congratulations to Chris Casement on his appointment as firstteam manager and express my excitement at working with him to develop the young talent within the club. I also wish to acknowledge Wilkes for stepping in and doing a fantastic job.
