RESERVES TEAM
We Hope To See A Strong Turnout For Tuesday
We’ve been eager to get back on the field since our thrilling 3-2 win against local rivals Whitton United on March 4th. We’re excited to face Woodbridge at home next Tuesday, March 28th, after our previous match was cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch. Before diving into the football updates, we have some news about our center half, Tom Goddard. We’d like to congratulate him on the birth of his baby girl! Tom has decided to prioritize fatherhood and leave the team. We want to thank him for his dedication and invaluable contributions over the past five seasons as a key member of our title-winning squad. We wish Tom and his family all the happiness in the world.

Focusing on the football aspect, we have five remaining fixtures: home games against Woodbridge, Halstead, and Cornard, as well as away matches against Woodbridge and Long Melford. Our aim is to give it our all and secure as many points as possible, finishing the season on a high note. Our journey continues on Tuesday night against a determined, young Woodbridge team.
We’d also like to acknowledge the outstanding work done by Chris Casement with the first team, who has successfully managed the transition of players and integrated talented youth, achieving impressive results. Kudos to Liam as well for his contribution to both the reserves and first team by nurturing promising young players.
Lastly, we hope to see a strong turnout of supporters on Tuesday to help us secure a crucial three points. Let’s go, Stow!
