What Next We have an opportunity to inform the Community Asset Transfer by providing a community vision which represents the survey results. Representatives from the advisory group will be invited to take part in the selection of the new management organisation.
Community Asset Transfer A Design Brief will be published week beginning 14 April 2014 Minimum requirements will be identified – for example; Open 7 days a week as a learning and community centre, available and accessible to the whole community. Must offer a library service.
Community Asset Transfer Interested parties will have four weeks to write and submit their „expression of interestâ€&#x; Following that all applicants will be shortlisted and the preferred organisation(s) invited for interview. The successful applicant will then be given around 10 weeks to write their business plan which will have to show how they will ensure the centre is sustainable and will meet the requirements.
