Is summer wardrobe frustration starting to sink in and make you think – what am I going to wear this season? A few guidelines will help you tackle that hot issue, and make you come out looking and feeling cool, like never before.

• It is a common knowledge that all cottons and linens are summer appropriate fabrics. Not everybody knows, however, that the variety of summer friendly textiles is much larger today, with the precise weaves of breathable material selections in both natural and synthetic combinations.

• Now, let’s talk about styles. Today’s fashion offers greater than ever range of choices. You see excellent designs with uncovered shoulders, various cut-outs in more or less expected places on a garment, not unusual are higher slits in skirts and dresses, but also in pants, and exaggerated, long straps exposing more skin and creating deeper necklines. All of them are providing you with more panache but also more comfort and aeration, that we desperately

need in the sunny Florida days. Loose and flowy styles, away from the body, should also become your good friends.

• Have you ever used your underwear as a part of your outfit? Why not be fashion forward? Get an emerald green, silk bra and wear it with deep V-neck, or a long strapped, loose fitting, beach dress, that has all the shades of the ocean. Use that long, hot pink, beach cover up over a yellow, bandana style bra, add printed capris pants for a more city sleek look.

• Bold colors could suit as another way to cheat the heat. The simple but so comfortable solid color T-shirt or slip-on dress are too plain and boring, bring them up to date with exaggerated and colorful jewelry such as huge hoop earrings in yellow and green, a flamboyant necklace in orange and blue or an array of moving bracelets on both arms. Your next good friend is the lightweight, cross body, animal print leather bag, to keep your hands free from sweating.

But your very best friend in the hot summer days should be your hat. Hats are outrageously stylish, not any other single piece or accessory will provide you with so much panache. Why do you think you see celebrities wearing them? A hat is a continuous classic that has never gone out of style. No other single piece, that you can add to your wardrobe will change, determine or express your personal look to that extent.

But there is more that a hat will offer you – a substantial help in protection from the harsh UV rays. Every woman should have

a great hat. You can choose your classic straw fedora, the white panama, or wide rim, bright color beach hat. You are the rule maker, use a hat that contrasts with what you wear, or you can use it to match and complement your outfit.

It’s important to remember that hats are not just there to match your clothing, they also express your personality. Find the hat that fits who you are as an individual, wear the hat that makes you happy.
