It is with great pleasure to introduce myself to you. My name is Natalia Nunez Torres, I graduated from Escuela Hotelera de San Juan Puerto Rico , summa cum laude, majoring in pastry arts with an emphasis on chocolate and breads.

After graduation, I began teaching pastry classes at my alma mater as well as the Catholic University of Puerto Rico. In addition, I also worked at the Hotel Rincon of the Seas in Puerto Rico creating decadent pastries and cakes for large events including weddings, birthdays, baby showers, and graduations... to name a few.

I am always aspiring to take my professional skills to the next level by learning and growing. Since 2019 I have had the pleasure of serving as the assistant pastry chef for the St. Petersburg Yacht Club. Now, I am honored to announce that as of April 2023 I will be the lead pastry chef for the Club. It is my commitment to provide exceptional service with dedication and a passion for pastry art. Thank you and I look forward to many years serving our members.

We would like to extend a heartfelt CONGRATULATIONS to Sheka Quarterman, who won the title of "Employee of the Month" for April.

Sheka has been a member of the Yacht Club staff for over a year now, coming to us by way of Jamaica. No doubt that if you have come for breakfast or attended a banquet event, you have met her. Sheka is truly a caring individual, caring about the members and the wellness of the Club. She works many hours, yet still maintains a friendly demeanor and puts service first. She exemplifies teamwork, helping out whoever may need a hand. Congratulations, Sheka, keep up the phenomenal job!!!
