be good to see greater use made of the normal week-day Celebrations, though we have never lacked our quota of Communicants. The habit of making one's Communion at least occasionally on a week-day, and especially on Saints' Days, is much worth acquiring and can be most easily acquired when young. A great debt is owed to the Chapel Monitor and to the Servers. Without their regular help the worship of God in our School Chapel would surely lack something in dignity : and the object of all we do, from beginning to end, is to offer to God the very best of which we are capable—for nothing less can ever be worthy of Him. THE CHOIR The Choir followed the custom of former years and on 20th June visited Scarborough for the annual outing. Once again the weather was kind to us, once again Mrs. Kendell put on a wonderful tea. The treat was greatly appreciated by all. We are sorry to lose many old members of the Choir, including Kendell. Their long and loyal service contributed in no small way to the successful work of the Choir. We are also sorry to say good-bye to Mr. Piers. Mr. Piers had an extensive knowledge of 31
