Kristen E. Vincent is author of the award-winning book, A Bead and a Prayer: A Beginner’s Guide to Protestant Prayer Beads. Join her as she shares the history, symbolism, and benefits of beads in prayer, then guides you through the process of making and using your own set of Anglican prayer beads.

Kristen has a Master of Theological Studies from Duke Divinity School and is a graduate of the two-year Academy for Spiritual Formation. She is also a spiritual director with certification as a Narrative Enneagram Practitioner.

During the workshop, each participant will follow along to make a full set of Anglican prayer beads. All necessary materials will be provided on the day of the event and are included in the $18 ticket cost.
