We cannot feel the sadness and pain, Of so much life lost and nothing to gain. Winds, rain and almighty Waves, How many lives were there saved?

My heart bleeds for those left behind, In an environment of devastation what can they find? I send my love, my prayers of hope, As the darkness falls and survivors must grope.

We are humbled and bend our knees at the power of our earth, Human life, frail, powerless to discover its worth. Oh great creator of life, Hear the words of the souls that cry out in their grief. Find a way please, to lift the strife, Bring their lives and hearts to swift relief ……..
