Autumn Solitude
Autumn Solitude
What an indefinable sense of awe and beauty approaches me, For a groom, his bride envelopes softness, richness, beauty, that causes his humility. Such are the qualities and hues I breathe in, in the autumn sun. Autumn shades, the solitude has just begun. A haze of golden light dusts the land it touches and cloaks with glory. Red, Yellow, Orange, Brown, colours that speak to the heart in this autumn story. There is life in death, at the truth we stare, In a trance capturing us in its cloak to wear! Tread you lightly or heartily upon a decaying leaf, Giving rise to crisp, crunching sounding pleasure. Such stately form bends down to death and grief, What beauty gone now, how do we measure? For now the trees stand tall, stripped bare of their vestiges, their solitude to reveal. Autumn solitude cannot be compared to any other season For life sparks deep within them, their journey is oh so surreal! For your privilege of beholding them, it stands to reason……..
