A. Allen: Vendors get ready for fall

We are fastly approaching that season again...

Fall is when the weather starts getting cold and the major holidays are quickly approaching. We vendors are still suiting and booting up to show and post up at our locations to meet and greet our customers with a hand up, not a hand out with Chicago’s most entertaining and informative magazine, StreetWise! We are so proud to be a part of this 28-year institution. StreetWise has made a big difference in so many of our lives. As an independent contractor (we are entrepreneurs!), we are happy for this season, for it 'tis the season to be jolly. Our StreetWise customers are almost always in a good, happy mood during the holiday season, even though YOU'RE the reason we are at our location, rain or shine, hot or cold, wind or snow. We are at our posts because we want every edition of StreetWise to sell out! We are in it to win it! We aim to please! We want to keep you updated with StreetWise information, we want you to be knowledgable, informed and street-wise. We want to always be there when you want your StreetWise news. We are glad to be of service to you, our most valued StreetWise customers.

Last, but not least, this is the time of year most customers show their appreciation to vendors with tips, gifts, and cards. We are family and it the season to show our appreciation for each other. Thank you to our readers and supporters.
