Since opening our doors in 1993 BG Group has maintained longterm relationships with our clients, partnerships based on trust, integrity and high levels of service delivery. Located under one roof in Brisbane our specialist civil, structural and hydraulic engineers collaborate closely to deliver optimum project outcomes for our clients that achieve balance between cost, functionality and design. Giuseppe (Joe) Finocchiaro Managing Director BG Civil
Giorgio Giaroli brings over 30 years of Civil and Structural Design experience.
As the founding Managing Director of BG Civil, Giuseppe Finocchiaro has a wealth of experience, spanning over 20 years within the structural engineering field.
As Managing Director he has presided over numerous successful developments including high-rise residential, industrial and commercial for high profile clients and civil projects. Giorgio’s proudest achievements are the longevity and depth of the client relationships he and the BG Group has formed, as well as the low staff turnover throughout the entire 20 years he’s been running his business.

Glen has been with BG Group since 2005 and is passionate about working closely with clients to help deliver creative and efficient outcomes.
Scott has over 35 years experience in the design, documentation and construction supervision of hydraulic services.
He has previously worked for major construction companies in the civil, mining and structural disciplines throughout Australia, United Kingdom, South America and Papua New Guinea.
He has been responsible for the design and documentation of a large and varied range of projects, from small unit developments to large commercial projects.
During this time Glen has developed key experience in project management and structural design. His work history demonstrates an ability to add value and deliver successful results for clients in an ever changing environment across diverse boundaries.
It is this commitment that has seen Giuseppe succeed in delivering numerous large scale projects on time and within budget.

Scott is actively involved in the design and documentation of each project to ensure all potential construction and coordination issues are resolved early. He also has developed strong working relationships with consultants to deliver the best outcomes for his clients.

THE BG GROUP
HISTORY Formed in 1993 by Giorgio Giaroli, BG Group Engineers was originally known as “Giorgio Giaroli and Associates, Consulting Engineers Pty. Ltd.” The company quickly grew in size and in 1999 merged with another engineering company to create the now well-known BG Group Engineers company name. The renamed BG Group Engineers experienced significant growth since, through partnering with established clients and helping them grow and succeed. Clients told us they were interested in the formation of a one-stop shop for engineering consultancies. So, it came to be that BG Civil commenced practice in 2006 under the able guidance of Giuseppe Finocchiaro. Giuseppe’s talent and experience has seen BG Civil grow to become one of Brisbane’s best known civil practices, with strong connections with the Brisbane City Council.

Following the successful initiation of BG Civil into BG Group, BG Hydraulics was formed in 2012 under the experienced guidance of Scott Ellis-Butler. Another recent milestone has been handing the BG Structures reins down to our most senior Director; Glen Farinazzo. Glen has proven his value to the company by earning the respect of his respective clients and industry peers.
Over 70% of our clients have a greater than 10 year history working with BG Group Engineers.
The Founding Director, Giorgio Giaroli, is ever present and ready to offer a guiding hand and offer his expert advice over all sections as and when required. BG Group Engineers is well positioned to continue to work closely with our clients assist clients to help them succeed in this ever changing business world.
