STUBAI ULTRATRAIL –BEAUTIFUL AND SPECTACULAR

The 5th Stubai Ultratrail (SUT) starts on 2 July 2022 at 1 p.m. in the Olympic city of Innsbruck. Three shorter races, also with a finish on the glacier, as well as the new “Stubai Vertical” up the Elfer, round off the programme. Thanks to its unique route, the Stubai Ultratrail is considered one of the most spectacular trail running events of all. The run starts at 1.00 a.m. in Innsbruck under the fitting motto “city2glacier” and stretches over 68 kilometres and over 5,000 metres difference in altitude up to the Stubai Glacier; including a steep final climb in the snow to the finish. Gradients of 20 to 30 percent are not uncommon. The fastest men take about eight and a half hours, the fastest women about ten hours. Shorter, but no less fascinating: the Stubai K32, the Stubai K20, and the Stubai K9. What they all have in common: the final ascent on the glacier!

NEW IN 2022: STUBAI VERTICAL

The Stubai Vertical is brand new and will take place on Thursday, 30 June 2022. The mountain run starts at 7 p.m. at the village square in Neustift and leads over 890 metres difference in altitude and 5.3 kilometres to the finish at the Elferbahnen top station at an altitude of almost 1,800 metres.
