Al- Mawaleh is a fully residential area with few commercial places that were just a few small shops around the mosque and on both sides of the high way.

Text On Survey Findings While surveying the people there was a lot of controversies, where a lot of people said that were are a lot of commercial places nearby that they can walk to. On the other hand, a lot of people pointed out that it was very hard to reach the nearest bus stop station. Also, in relation to the availability of the parking around the mosque, the majority agreed on having enough parking lots. in regards to the walkability, there are no barriers that impede you to reach from one place to another. lastly, mostly everyone walks to the mosque and the small shops around it, while they use their cars to reach the other places.

Comparisons: stores are located on the sides of the high way, mosque and petrol station. according to the results, most the people that we have surveyed were living nearby these three zones.

The good pavements are nearby the mosque and highway because they are active areas and many cars and people pass there. Despite the internal streets of the neighborhood, it has bad pavements because there are no official sidewalks to walk. Text On Survey Findings The majority agreed that there are no sidewalks at all and they wish if they could have enough space to walk around the neighborhood or to exercise. Comparisons When we studied the area we noticed that there is an official sidewalk that has been built to walk or to cycle but the problem was that this sidewalk is too far from the houses and it is not shown thats why it is not useful or active somehow.

Text on maps findings Unfortunately, the neighborhood is lifeless. there is no greenery in the center of the neighborhood or around, just a few houses have some trees. However, most of the greenery is on the top of the map which is where the highway it is located. Every two houses are sharing one bin. there is no much garbage in the area. Moreover, there is no nice facade as well. Text On Survey Findings The people strongly agreed on not having trees on the sides of the streets in the neighborhood. They highly disagree with having too much garbage that may stop them from walking. no one assures that there are any interesting facades in the neighborhood. Comparisons Our study matches the answers to our survey.
