1. File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at fafsa.gov if you intend to apply for need-based grants and loans. Have the results sent to ORU by enter ing ORU’s code, #003985, when prompted for the school code. 2. Pay your enrollment deposit of $100; new students planning to live on campus must also pay a separate housing deposit of $150 to secure a space in an ORU residence hall. The enrollment deposit will appear as a credit on youraccount toward your first semester ’s charges. The housing deposit ac ts as a secur it y deposit for your stay in ORU residence halls, and the unused por tion will be re tur ned to you af ter you complete your final semester and move out. You can pay your deposits at payonline.oru. edu ( c hoose O nl i n e Pay m e nt O p ti o n # 2 l o g i n, t hen c ho o se t he eD ep o si t s t ab) or call us at 918.495.6518. 3. Send us your final official transcripts. When you were admitted, you submitted trans cr ipts for classes that were in progress. Now that you’ve completed that coursewor k , have a final transcr ipt sent direc tly from your high school or college to ORU Admissions. I t must be mailed from the school to ORU as a sealed document to be considered official. 4. Locate your Z number. Your acceptance letter contained an eight digit number preceded by a Z. This is your ORU Z number and uniquely identifies you. Keep your Z number close by as you will be asked for it throughout the registration process—you may find it helpful to store it in your phone. 5. Use your Z number to sign on to VISION, ORU’s Enrollment and R egistration System, at vision.oru.edu—selec t “Enter S ecure Area,” and t ype your Z number (ex. “Z12345678”) and your password, which is your six digit bir thday until you change it (ex.“120191”). VISION is the site on which you will access all of your account infor mation as well as your grades, Whole Person Assessment S cores, etc. I t may be helpful to browse around and familiar iz yourself with this site to complete registration, go to“R egistration Steps” and enter your ter m of entr y. For most students, this will be “Fall 2012.” 6. Complete the Housing application online and selec t a meal plan, residence hall and room. The Housing system can be found through VISION or accessed direc tly at housing.oru.edu. 7. All full-time students must have health insurance while attending ORU. Enter this infor mation as a par t of your R egistration Steps in your ORU Vision Account. I f you cur rently do not have health insurance, you may choose to enroll in the plan available to ORU students through United Healthcare Student R esources at w w w.uhcsr.com/oru or call 800.767.0700.
