Inventions of The Age of Revolution Telegraph communications was a big improvement and left a big impact. Created in the early 1800’s, it changed communication forever. This inventi-on enabled people to stay in contact and become aware of events much more easily. John Mcadam eventually developed a new road building tech-nique that revolutionized road construction forever. Eli Whitney invented the cotton gin-an engine that made cotton production separate easier.
1770s and 1830s In the 1770s, the american colonies, beginning with thirteen British colonies, revolted against British control. In the 1830s, most of the spanish, portuguese, and Bristish colonies had also gained their colonies.
1789 and 1815 In 1789, when French Revolution began they went through several stages. In the 1815, Napoleon went to war against france. Then Napleon was finally defeated by France.
Cultural Contributions Art:Many artists of the 19th century developed a new style, known as romanticism, which focused on heightened emotion and the irrational side of human nature. Like many other artists of his generation, Theodore Gericault was inspired by ancient Greek and Roman sculpture, which revealed the body’s potential for passionate expression. He developed a romantic style that expressed tension and violent emotions.
Cultural Contributions Theater: Local theaters adapted Parisian works, and authors composed their own plays to glorify their regions. Theater was a key medium in how people conceived of their place within France. As its borders expanded and its government changed.
