Objective By using four black squares, I created a composition that best expressed the meaning of the six words I was given. Then made eight preliminary sketches for each word.

The compostition choice in this poster difinatly helps to convey the mood by the implied situation. 5. The buildings are in perspective and feels like the viewer is looking down a street. It helps the viewers eye through the composition, but you also feel as if the viewer is looking up from the water.

Atmospheric Perspective
Objective To create a photomontage that employs atmospheric perspective using my knowledge of design principles, my goal was to give a convincing illusion of deep space.

Color Mood and Mean
Objective Identify images online that portray the meanings of a variety of colors. Red: Energy, power, war, blood. Orange: Youth, eccentric, vibrant. Yellow: Playful, joy, happiness. Green: Nature, fresh, sickly, devious. Blue: Loyal, tranquility, peace, calm. Purple: Elegance, mysticism, mystery. White: Purity, sterility, innocence. Black: Evil, mystery, elegance.

Unity This composition is asymmetricaly balanced, with the focal emphasis on the main tentical in the foreground while the second focal emphasis on the head in the middle ground. While the flow of the shapes and forms of the octapus helps the viewers eyes travel through the piece in a circular motion. There is also some atmospheric persepective towards the backgournd. The texture on the rocks and people showaces the image more, while giving iit defenition.
