WELCOME TO THE TAYLOR MADE NOVEMBER PREVIEW! I am very proud of the incredible group of fillies, mares, and foals our customers have trusted us to showcase on their behalf this year. Some represent turn-key opportunities for prospective buyers to step right into G1 company on the track, while others can take you to the premier sale or race destinations with their future offspring! As always, we are very happy to see so many of our buyers having success with mares bought in recent years. Worldclass horses such as American Pharoah, Lady Aurelia, Arrogate, McKinzie, Yoshida, and countless others have taken center stage after their dams were found by their new owners at TAYLOR MADE! As you read through our November Magazine, you will learn more about some beautiful fillies and mares that will become the producers of future stars, or may even ascend to new heights like STOPCHARGINGMARIA did for Town and Country Farm when she won the Breeders’ Cup Distaff only a year after her purchase. The only question is: What Will You Find at Taylor Made? I hope you enjoy a great weekend of racing at Santa Anita leading up to the sales at Fasig-Tipton and Keeneland. We are here to serve you. If you have any questions about our consignment we are available anytime or if there is anything else we can assist you with, please call. Best of luck and happy hunting!

The appeal War Front presents on the racetrack can be seen around the world and on every surface, as evidenced by Preakness Stakes winner War of Will, Grade 1 winners Omaha Beach, and The Factor, and a fleet of European champions. For the commercial breeder, War Front has established himself as a fixture atop the yearling auction market, most recently leading all sires by average sale price at this year’s Keeneland September Yearling Sale, with 14 horses changing hands for and average of $579,643. GENETIC FIRE Going deeper into the mare’s family reveals one of the deepest pages in the stud book, going all the way back to sixth dam Stick to Beauty, who had champion sprinter Gold Beauty and Grade 2 winner The Prime Minister. Gold Beauty was a force around one turn, and her record was just as imposing when she retired to the breeding shed, producing Grade 1 winners Maplejinsky and Dayjur. Gold Beauty was the pivot point for myriad top runners, including Breeders’ Cup Distaff winner Pleasant Home, Grade 1 winners Tale of Ekati and Point of Entry, and Grade 2 winners Country Hideaway and Vacation. However, her most significant contribution to the breed was the great Sky Beauty, whose mantle included a champion older female title and nine Grade 1 victories. Sky Beauty was herself a graded stakes producer, and she is the third dam of Cinnamon Spice.

She also ran third in the Beaumont Stakes (G2). Diva Delite is also the dam of Stage Left, a 4-length winner of a Keeneland maiden special weight, and third in the juvenile Sapling Stakes. Stage Left is a winner again at three in 2019. Diva Delite is out of the multiple stakes-placed Tour Hostess, a halfsister to multiple stakes winner Bay Street Gal. Her granddam, Counsel’s Gal, is half-sister to stakes winner Runaway Fair Lady. Diva Delite’s third dam, T. N. T. Gal, is out of Cargreen, the ancestress of 27 stakes winners, including Champion Two-Year-Old Filly and Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) victress Sweet Catomine, and other Grade 1 winners Life is Sweet, Pirate’s Revenge, and Matter of Time. Diva Delite the is dam of an exceptional weanling colt by Pioneerof the Nile – from the same sire line as Midnight Lute, the sire of Midnight Bisou. She is carrying a foal from the first crop of undefeated Triple Crown hero Justify, a mating that is not only an extremely exciting commercial one, but also has rare classic-producing potential.

DANUSKA’S MY GIRL
TOP SPRINTER OF THE WEST COAST The 2019 campaign of Danuska’s My Girl has been a march up and down Southern California’s female sprint division, and the result has been a continuing series of graded stakes conquests at nearly every stop. Following a ¾-length allowance optional claiming score over a mile at Santa Anita in January, to start her campaign, the Shackleford mare has competed exclusively in graded stakes company. First came the Las Flores Stakes (G3), where she drew clear by 3 ¼ lengths to win over a field that included Grade 1 winner Dream Tree and Grade 1-placed stakes winner Emboldened. Danuska’s My Girl then held off multiple stakes winner Show It N Moe It to win the Desert Stormer Stakes (G3) at Santa Anita. After a pace-setting fourth in the Great Lady M Stakes (G2) at Los Alamitos, the mare rebounded to once again wire the field in the Rancho Bernardo Stakes (G3) at Del Mar. The field for the Rancho Bernardo included Grade 1-placed Anonymity, stakes winner Best of Me, multiple Grade 2-placed Exuberance, and old foe Show It N Moe It.
dam, the Dayjur mare Amaday. Her first foal was the stakes-placed sprinter Leonardo (Smoke Glacken), followed by fellow stakes-placed one-turn runner Noble Prince. That pair was later followed by the Street Hero filly Vieja Luna, who is a three-time stakes winner at a mile or longer on both dirt and allweather racing surfaces. Danuska’s My Girl was the final foal out of Amaday. The pivot point for Danuska’s My Girl’s female family is third dam Am Capable, who parlayed a multiple Grade 3-winning racing career into a $1.5-million hammer price, selling in foal to Danzig at the 1985 Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale.
ROYAL BROODMARE HERITAGE In addition to the tail-line female family, Danuska’s My Girl has the backing of some of the best broodmares in recent memory in her four-cross pedigree. Broodmares of the Year Oatsee and Weekend Surprise can be found supporting sires on the cross, while the mighty mare Gold Beauty produced Danuska’s My Girl’s broodmare sire, Dayjur.

THE BEST OF TWO CONTINENTS A stakes-winning daughter of Galileo from an international family, and bred to undefeated Triple Crown winner Justify, Easter Lily represents the best of two continents. They are headed by the undefeated Frankel, generally regarded as the best racehorse ever seen in Europe, as well as such as Australia, New Approach, Gleneagles, and countless more. Galileo now appears well on his way to having a similar impact as a broodmare sire. He was Champion Broodmare Sire in Britain and Ireland for the first time in 2018, and his daughters have already produced 149 stakes winners, 84 Group or Graded, and 28 Group or Grade 1 winners, including classic victors Saxon Warrior, Magna Grecia, Sottsass, Night of Thunder, La Cressonniere, Galileo Gold, Unforgotten, Qualify, Leicester, and Magicool.

EASTER LILY (IRE)
Easter Lily is out of stakes winner Chanting, and is a product of the cross of Galileo with Danehill mares that has produced a staggering 54 individual stakes winners, 36 Group or Graded, and 14 Group or Grade 1 winners. Chanting is also dam of two young producing daughters of Galileo. Easter Lily’s dam Chanting is out of Mr. Prospector’s excellent daughter Golden Reef, successful in the Schuylerville Stakes (G2), and second in the Matron Stakes (G1) and Spinaway Stakes (G1). Golden Reef is half-sister to multiple graded winner Virginia Carnival, stakes winner Virginia Privateer, and graded winner Virginia Colony, herself dam of stakes winner Lucky Virginian. For her first foal, Easter Lily is bred to Justify, North America’s only undefeated Triple Crown winner. philosophies and practices, both in the breeding shed and on the track. Their efforts have produced horses that have won graded stakes races all over the world and commanded standout prices in the sales ring. Their success also signals how much breeding has changed in the last 50 years, with leadership shifting from mostly men to a more equal distribution bet ween men and women at the helm of these operations. At the heart of each woman’s farm are broodmares that have produced the champions of the last three decades. For Barbara Banke, her Stonestreet Farm focuses on keeping it all in the family, producing horses that will race in their silks and then retire back into their breeding program to strengthen an already successful broodmare band. Among their Grade 1 winning broods, the farm is home to a number of cornerstone mares as well as Preakness winner and Hall of Famer Rachel Alexandra and Royal Ascot champion Lady Aurelia.
CHARLOTTE WEBER For Charlotte Weber and Live Oak Stud, the goal is similar to Banke’s: a tight broodmare band. However, Weber has an interesting take on the long-term financial stabilit y of the buyer. Weber aims to sell mares at lower prices to enable buyers to invest in their own horses. For both Banke and Weber, however, the goal is to watch their horses grow in their fields and then succeed on the racetrack. Weber’s Live Oak stands strong as a private breeder among the growing number of commercial operations, counting horses like Grade 1 winners World Approval, Solar Splendor, and Sultry Song among her successes. Her philosophy centers on patience and watching qualit y runners and solid bloodstock develop over time. “Any breeder’s encouragement comes from

Hot streaks can be hard to come by in horse racing, but Hotshot Anna has been on one for nearly two years.
A HOT COMPETITOR ON THE TRACK Since April 2018, Hotshot Anna has had 10 starts, and finished no worse than second each time she entered the gate. Over the course of her career thus far, the mare has proven she can get the job done over any surface and at a variety of distances. The mare’s 10 race hot streak began near the beginning of her 4-year-old campaign with a runner-up effort going 6 furlongs on the dirt at Oaklawn Park, then sticking to the distance and surface type to finish second in the L’Etoile du Nord Stakes at Canterbury Park, where she finished ahead of future graded stakes winner Escape Clause. Two starts later she would win the Chicago Handicap (G3) by a handy 5 3/4 lengths and then dominated subsequent fields in the Satin and Lace Stakes and Presque Isle Masters (G2), both of which she has won twice now. In those Stakes tries she not only cleared the field, but ran fast enough to garner four separate Ragozins of 5. Hotshot Anna’s record stands at 10 wins in 22 starts, with earnings of $863,440. Hotshot Anna is the third generation of her female family to earn black type.

That one is Bast, the first foal of her dam, Laffina, who is offered here carrying a foal by a Horse of the Year and highly successful sire Ghostzapper, which is bred on a powerful cross. Making only her second start, Bast broke her maiden in style in the Del Mar Debutante Stakes (G1), romping by 8 ¾ lengths. FREAKISH TALENT FROM THE WORD “GO” Lucy N Ethel wasted no time getting to the winner’s circle, prevailing in each of her first four starts. The first half of that equation came at Parx, first wiring a field of Pennsylvania-breds by a length, then graduating to open filly allowance company, where she was never challenged en route to an eyepopping 13 ¼-length score and an 89 Beyer Speed Figure. The filly was packed south to Gulfstream Park a month after her breakout allowance to dip her toe into graded stakes company for the first time in the Old Hat Stakes (G3). In another gate-to-wire effort, Lucy N Ethel drew off by 3 ¾ lengths, besting a field that included Grade 2-placed multiple stakes winner Ballet Diva.

UPDATE: Second foal, Legends of War, now a G3 Winner! Legends of War ($1.35M 2yo) pointing towards the Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint (G1) Currently I/F to Justify – same cross as her G3W by Scat Daddy Her 2yo filly, Masque d’Oiseau, won debut at Monmouth 9/29 Trainer: Trainer: Brad Brad Cox Cox Owner: JJ A AG G Racing Racing and Owner: and Jettany Jettany Thoroughbred Thoroughbred Corp. Corp.
LEGENDS OF WAR
What’s more exciting than buying a mare from the first book of undefeated Triple Crown winner Justify? Buying one with the knowledge that it’s a proven cross! Madera Dancer is the dam of Legends of War, who was a Group 2-placed runner in England before coming stateside and winning the Franklin-Simpson Stakes (G3) at Kentucky Downs. Legends of War is a son of Scat Daddy, the same as Justify. Justify’s first book of mares was one of the hottest tickets of the 2019 stallion market. If the early success of 2015 Triple Crown winner American Pharoah at auction and on the racetrack is any indication, the pins are set up for Justify’s first foals to be in demand. Buying Madera Dancer in-foal to Justify means getting in on the ground floor for what could be a game-changing stallion. Knowing the mare is capable of producing a high-level foal from a similar cross can create an extra level of comfort when she enters the sales ring and it’s time to make a decision on whether to take her home.
A PEDIGREE THAT IS “A BREATH OF FRESH AIR” Madera Dancer is a daughter of Rahy, out of the stakes-winning Danehill Dancer mare Maxxi Arte. Jumping back two generations to third dam Lisana reveals a strong turf influence in the female family, including French Group 1 winner Mont Ormel, Italian Group 1 winner Linngari, U.S. Grade 1-placed Liyoun, and Irish Group 1-placed Livadiya, all of which earned their designations on the grass. Rahy’s reputation as a broodmare sire is rock-solid, having earned Great Britain’s leading broodmare sire title in 2000. Among the runners his daughters are responsible for are the immortal Giant’s Causeway, and Grade 1 winners Rutherienne and Life at Ten. Madera Dancer is a total outcross through her first four generations, and only Caro appears as a 5x5, going a generation further. There is no Mr. Prospector or Seattle Slew influence to be seen, and Northern Dancer appears only in the fifth generation. In a time when genetic diversity is on the minds of many breeders, Madera Dancer’s pedigree is a breath of fresh air into nearly any breeder’s program.

Although a Grade 1 winner on turf, Mirth’s half-siblings have shown an affinity for dirt. Among them is stakes-placed Heat Dome and threeyear-old filly Vault – whose three victories have added up to nearly 30 lengths, including a 10-length romp on September 25th of this year. Mirth is a filly who just ran the race of her life and appears likely to be a potent factor in major stakes going forward. A compelling offering coming this November will be juvenile Grade 1 winner NOTED AND QUOTED in foal to the undefeated Triple Crown winner JUSTIFY. “[This mating] presents an alluring meld of precocious speed with classic dominance,” writes Alan Porter. MAKING A STATEMENT
It took precisely one start for Ollie’s Candy to establish herself as a force to be reckoned with, when she dismantled a group of maiden special weight rivals by 6 ½ lengths at Golden Gate Fields, going 6 furlongs over the all-weather main track. Moving up to allowance optional claiming company produced a similar result at the same distance, but the margin of victory stretched out to 7 ¾ lengths. Looking for a new challenge, Ollie’s Candy shipped to Southern California for the Summertime Oaks (G2) at Santa Anita Park. There was plenty of unknowns between the new surrounds and her first start on natural dirt, but the end result was still a trip to the winner’s circle. The list of foes Ollie’s Candy defeated that day included Grade 2 winner Chocolate Martini and Grade 1-placed Thirteen Squared.
GRADE 1 ON ANY SURFACE Ollie’s Candy rarely runs a bad one, having missed the board just once in nine career starts. After her Summertime Oaks score, Ollie’s Candy turned a pair of runner-up finishes on the turf in the San Clemente Stakes (G2) and Del Mar Oaks (G1). At four, she earned another runner-up finish in the Wilshire Stakes (G3) at Santa Anita before chalking up her biggest victory to date. The Clement L. Hirsch Stakes (G1) at Del Mar came up with an imposing field in the dirt test, including Grade 1 winners Paradise Woods and Secret Spice, Grade 2 winner La Force, stakes winner Queen Bee to You, and stakes-placed

I can’t wait to see what kind of bang they make this year at Tatts. Newmarket Based Bloodstock Agent Mark McStay Come October, the hammer will drop on the last yearling offering of the season, and the attention of the Taylor Made Sales team will be fully turned towards the most important breeding stock sales in the world at Fasig-Tipton and Keeneland. Oh, and Tattersalls. Last December, a small team from Taylor Made embarked on a journey to Europe’s center of racing at Newmarket, England to represent the inaugural “Taylor Made at Tattersalls” consignment at the December Mare Sale. W hile the weather they met was a harsh combination of cold and damp, the people they were greeted by were anything but. “I think buyers and sellers in Newmarket were curious as to what our consignment was going to look like” says Mark Taylor. “We saw a lot of familiar faces and saw even more new ones, but ever yone we met was excited to have us selling horses at Tattersalls. Selling on the other side of the world is easier when the hospitalit y is that great.” Taylor Made’s own hospitalit y box greeted potential buyers with warm Kentuck y burgoo and sips of Woodford Reser ve while they were looking at the mares on offer. The qualit y of bloodstock presented, and perhaps a little nudge from the bourbon, was key as Taylor Made sold six mares offered with the consignment’s top lot being Midnight Crossing who fetched 400,000 guineas. Once again, this December a small cohort of Taylor Made ambassadors will make their way to Newmarket to do what no other consignor in the world is doing. Big names on offer this year are Royal Ascot heroine Shang Shang Shang and Grade 1 winner Sophie P who is in foal to Frankel. Newmarket based bloodstock agent Mark McStay, has this to say about Taylor Made’s new endeavor: “I know what they’re bringing is top-qualit y, and coming to another continent and having success proves that they are the best in the entire world at selling horses without question.”

Princess Warrior once again found her momentum in the second half of her 3-year-old campaign, following a switch from dirt to turf. After winning an Ellis Park allowance at 1-1/16 miles, she shipped to Arlington Park and ran third in the Pucker Up Stakes (G3). The brave mare followed that up with another stakes second versus tough company in the Dueling Ground Oaks at Kentucky Downs. Princess Warrior proved good enough to be invited to the prestigious Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup (G1) at Keeneland, where she earned an 87 Beyer trying to run down Rushing Fall. is offered carrying her first foal, a son or daughter of War Front. Sailor’s Valentine gained her Grade 1 laurels with an exceptionally brave victory in the Ashland Stakes (G1) at Keeneland. Never far from the lead, Sailor’s Valentine fought her way to the head of affairs at the top of the stretch, despite receiving a bump from the long-time leader. Once ahead, Sailor’s Valentine dug in determinedly to turn back the challenge of closer Daddys Lil Darling to score by a half length. The value of the form is underlined when we note that Daddy’s Lil Darling was already a graded stakes winner, and had been Grade 1-placed over the Ashland track and distance. Subsequently, Daddys Lil Darling would pay further compliments to the Ashland form, taking second behind Champion Abel Tasman in the Kentucky Oaks (G1) on her next outing, and later capturing the American Oaks (G1). In addition to Daddys Lil Darling, the vanquished Ashland Stakes field also included multiple Grade 1 scorer Elate, and Grade 1 winner Pretty City Dancer. The previous year, Sailor’s Valentine signaled her affinity for the Keeneland surface scoring an impressive 3 ¼-length victory over subsequent graded winner Purely a Dream on her racetrack debut. Sailor’s Valentine’s granddam, stakes-placed Competent Sort, is a threequarters sister to Derivative, a multiple stakes winner of over $500,000, and is out of the exceptional Tartan Farm mare, Coup de Fusil. GLOBAL STALLION OPTIONS FOR 2020 AND BEYOND Mizzen Mast’s sire Cozzene is a son of exceptionally important international influence, Caro. Both he and Mizzen Mast are an outcross for most major commercial sire lines, among them Mr. Prospector through Fappiano, Unbridled, Gone West, Smart Strike and his son Curlin, Street Cry and Seeking the Gold; Northern Dancer through Storm Bird, Danzig and Sadler’s Wells; and A.P. Indy, including Tapit. Considering some of these: we can note that Tapit has had stakes success with Caro line mares, including Cozzene and sons of Cozzene. The mating to Tapit would also give the proven pattern of inbreeding to sisters Preach (dam of Pulpit) and Yarn (dam of Tale of the Cat), as well as to Unbridled and his Grade 1-winning brother Cahill Road, strengthening the Tartan Farm background of the pedigree. The Tartan connection could also be effectively made through Fappiano line horses like American Pharoah – both giving the brothers Unbridled and Cahill Road – and Horse of the Year Gun Runner, and his sire Candy Ride (a proven cross for Caro line mares).

There are also strong indications that another of Europe’s great sires, Dubawi, could fit here, and the cross of the Green Desert line – available through such as Invincible Spirit, Oasis Dream, and Sea The Stars – also has considerable promise. Japan’s legendary stallion, Deep Impact, is gone but he had success with Caro line mares. Any number of his sons in Japan would be worth considering in the future.
THE WAR FRONT FACTOR: GREAT DEMAND WITH LIMITED SUPPLY Sailor’s Valentine is offered carrying her first foal, a son or daughter of War Front. One of the world’s most important international sires, War Front is sire of 85 stakes winners, more than 20 of them Group and Grade 1. War Front is a son of Danzig, and there have already been three stakes winners out of Mizzen Mast mares, the mating we have here. A foal by War Front provides near-limitless options, and one with a female family like Sailor’s Valentine makes those options look even more appealing. The appeal War Front presents on the racetrack can be seen around the world and on every surface, as evidenced by Preakness Stakes winner War of Will, Grade 1 winners Omaha Beach and The Factor, and a fleet of European champions. For the commercial breeder, War Front has established himself as a fixture atop the yearling auction market, most recently leading all sires by average sale price at this year’s Keeneland September Yearling Sale, with 14 horses changing hands for an average of $579,643. The most expensive of the group brought $2.9 million, the auction’s third-highest price.

THE BEST OF CLAIBORNE BREEDING Sower is by Flatter, one of the most successful stallion sons of A.P. Indy, and sire of more than 50 stakes winners, including Champion ThreeYear-Old Colt West Coast. On the distaff side of the pedigree, Sower comes from a peerless family. Her dam, the Seeking the Gold mare, Enth, is also the dam of Sower’s half-sister Vast, winner of the Hollywood Wildcat Stakes at two in 2019. Enth is a three-quarters sister to stakes placed Liable, the dam of Blame, who defeated Zenyatta in the Breeders’s Cup Classic (G1) to gain a title as Champion Older Horse, and who is now a classic sire. Limit, the dam of Enth, is a stakes winner and graded stakes performer who is also dam of stakes-winning and Grade 1-placed Cease; and of Extent, dam of graded winner Size and Grade 1-placed Mucho. Sower’s third dam is Bound, a stakes-winning and Grade 1-placed daughter of Nijinsky II. This makes Bound a sister to Number, a graded stakes winner who produced three group/graded stakes winners, including Grade 1 winner Jade Robbery, and who is ancestress of more than a dozen other stakes winners, including champion Gold Dream, and Grade 1 winner Corinthian. Bound is also a three-quarters sister to the breed-shaping stallions Sadler’s Wells and Nureyev, and to champion sire Fairy King. VASILIKA
Owner: All Schlaich Stables LLC, Hollendorfer, LLC, Gatto Racing, LLC and Todaro, G.
“WIN MACHINE” Whoever coined the term ‘win machine’ might well have had Vasilika in mind. Since April 1, 2018, Vasilika has recorded 13 victories in 15 starts. This includes a run of eight victories in 10 consecutive graded stakes events, and a total of 10 black-type wins in 12 such contests.
noted foundation mare Nato II, the granddam of Please Try Hard, and Please Try Hard’s own dam, We Try Harder, is also an extremely successful taproot mare appearing as ancestress of nearly 40 stakes winners, including Shalaa, a Champion Two-Year-Old in Europe; Hayil, successful in the Middle Park Stakes (G1), Europe’s most important juvenile sprint event; multiple Grade 1 winner Wild Rush; and other graded winners Somethinaboutlaura,
Among Vasilika’s triumphs during this epic run we can note the Rodeo Drive
Dragon Pulse, Something Awesome, Lewis Bay, Mighty Beau, Summer Raven,
Stakes (G1), Gamely Stakes (G1), back-to-back renewals of the John C. Mabee
Winslow Homer, Misconnect and Cabin Sky.
Stakes (G2), the Buena Vista Stakes (G2), the Goldikova Stakes (G2) – in which she recorded a 102 Beyer Speed Figure – the Royal Heroine Stakes (G2) and the Megahertz Stakes (G3). These successes range in distance from a mile – where she three times scored in 1:33 and change – through 9 furlongs, and up to 1-1/4 miles, a distance she completed in 1:59.04. In compiling this exceptional record, Vasilika has defeated such Grade 1 winners as La Force and Sophie P, multiple graded stakes winners Elysea’s World, Rymska, Ravens Lady, Lull, Cambodia, La Sardane, Beau Recall, Queen Blossom, graded stakes winners Paved, Juliet Foxtrot, Ollie’s Candy, Causeforcommotion, Fahan Mura, Madame Stripes, and Cheekaboo, and at least 11 other stakes winners.
MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE Vasilika is by Swaps Stakes (G2) victor Skipshot, the leading son of Horse of the Year Skip Away. Skipshot was bred by Jane Lyon’s Summerwind Farm and has proven to be a quality sire from limited opportunities.
While her race-record – which demonstrates class, consistency and versatility at the highest level – is obviously impressive in the extreme, elements of Vasilika’s pedigree also make her an exceptionally rare and exciting broodmare prospect.
THE “ULTIMATE OUTCROSS” Her sire is extremely unusual in that he has a pedigree completely free of Northern Dancer, Mr. Prospector and Seattle Slew, and has just one cross of Hail to Reason which will be in the sixth generation of Vasilika’s foals. Her dam has just one cross of Mr. Prospector, which will appear in the fifth generation of Vasilika’s offspring, and two crosses of Northern Dancer, which will be back in the sixth and fifth generation of Vasilika’s foals. One of those strains of Northern Dancer is through Topsider, a leading sire who is closely related to Sadler’s Wells and Nureyev. The combination of Sadler’s Wells or Nureyev with Topsider already appears in more than 50 stakes winners, 30 of them Group or Graded, and nine
Her dam, La Belle Marquet, is out of Good for Her, a stakes-winning daughter
group or Grade 1, meaning Vasilika’s pedigree allows one to breed to a host
of graded stakes performer Please Try Hard, also the second dam of the
of international stallions, allowing sires who carry those strains to have
Princess Stakes (G2) victress Sweet and Ready. The family goes back to the
particular appeal.
