WE ARE A SMALL DESIGN STUDIO IN COPENHAGEN AND THIS IS OUR STUFF. 私たちはコペンハーゲンの小さなデザインスタジオです。 そしてこれは私たちの作品です。

HELLO! • ヘロー!
_________________________________ In 2005 I quit my job and moved to Tokyo. I wanted to study Japanese language and experience something completely different from my daily life in Copenhagen. Exploring the streets of the Shinjuku district felt like visiting a strange and exciting new world. It was an exhilarating time. For months I was truly excited by the new adventures I encountered every day. As time went by, however, I started to notice that there are many similarities between Japanese culture and my own Scandinavian heritage: - The interest in things that are entirely simple and honest but never boring or plain - An affection for natural and unembellished materials such as clay, glaze, cork and wood - The underlying sense of humor and the less-than-serious approach to design This collection is based on these three principles and serves as a presentation of our basic products - with new stuff being added during the year as well. Many of our products in these pages are hand-made and hand-glazed here in our studio in Copenhagen which also serves as a multi-functional design development and research lab. Here we experiment, develop and produce the sort of things that we want to own ourselves. Thank you for stepping onto the surface of our little planet.
