Wood Peg by Studio Gorm for Direktorenhaus Wood Peg is the Shaker-inspired furniture system. The set comprises wooden tables and benches that can be dissembled and hung on the wall when not in use. The legs screw into each table top or seat and attach to the wall-mounting with magnets. Legs and tops are interchangeable, creating different-sized furniture pieces as needed.

Located in a fifty-year old student dormitory building next to the National University of Singapore’s Law Campus, Hatched serves up a curious array of egg-inspired dishes and desserts catering to a youthful target audience.

Windsor Settee by Chris Specce Quintessentially American, the traditional Windsor chair was an immigrant that flourished when Colonial craftsman imparted it with a grace uncommon to its British ancestry. This minimalist offering proposes that the traditional American Windsor chair was a prototype for modernism, exhibiting efficiency, utility, and material and structural integrity. On its own, or paired with its companion, the Farm Table, this chair is fit for both domestic and commercial settings. Available in a stain or opaque finish.

Bluff City pendant lamp by Jonah Takagi Manufactured by Roll & Hill. Bluff City merges a traditional pendant shade and a wire cage into an industrially inspired but refined pendant. A variety of finish combinations gives the light a vaguely postmodern feel that echoes the Memphis movement. However, the Tennessee town, known as Bluff City, was the inspiration for the series.


‘kvadrat basecamp’ by atelier takagi for Kvadrat In a celebration of Hallingdal 65’s longevity, at a time when that quality seems rarer than ever, Kvadrat has invited a new generation of designers to create entirely new works using the textile and explore new applications for the fabric. he furniture piece envelopes a wooden frame with the woolen textile, creating a micro-environment. the asymmetrical structure forms a canopy over the hallingdal-upholstered mattress. a vertical block of blue elongates the piece, giving it a more relaxed, horizontal aesthetic. In the form of vintage camping gear, the daybed is a playful room within a room. ‘kvadrat basecamp’ was exhibited as part of the kvadrat hallingdal 65 exhibition at the jil sander showroom during milan design week 2012.

Technology has made these tools simpler, streamlined, intuitive — all while delivering better performance in a beautiful package. We looked to provide the same level of execution in a multipurpose chair.

These playful collages upend traditional notions of symmetry in favor of a dynamic spatial harmony. The collection’s abstracted shades are networked via connecting cords and hubs.
