VERMONA pioneers of electronic music Our company is located in the idyllic south-eastern Vogtland in Germany which is well-known for its extraordinary skills of building musical instruments since the 18th century. Here and for over 25 years, we manufacture electronic music instruments and processors using the highest level of craftsmanship. Modular Dock gives you access to numerous features of Mono Lancet ’15 that aren’t available from its surface. It allows manual or cv-controlled pulsewidth-modulation for both oscillators as well as control-voltage inputs for pitch, cutoff-frequency and VCA level. It even can serve as simple MIDI-to-CV-interface. With Modular Dock you can dramatically increase the functionality of Mono Lancet ’15 in any direction you like. For Example: Add a second envelope generator, LFO and filter, or use it for cross-modulation and filter FM. Mono Lancet ’15
Mono Lancet ’15 is a small-sized monophonic synthesizer with huge sound capabilities. Its build upon the classic VCO-VCF-VCA structure: two strong analog oscillators and a 4-pole lowpass-filter are completed by a versatile LFO and an ADSR envelope generator. You will get out musical lead- and bass-sounds of this little box. Its simple user interface allows quick sound shaping and thanks to its footprint of less than 8.5 x 6 inch it is perfect to be placed on top of a master-keyboard and fits in any studio environment. With its unique eurorack-extension, the Modular Dock, it can easily be integrated into a modular synthesizer system or even be the starting point for building one up.

’14 Analogsynthesizer With the completion of the ’14 Analogsynthesizer, a long fostered dream became true: The design and realization of an uncompromising synthesizer for instrumentalists.
To us, expressive play means a balanced relation between melodic virtuosity and sound shaping. In our ’14 Analogsynthesizer, these factors unite in full equality: Keyboard, pitch- and modulation-wheels are incomplete without the additional controls and switches of the remaining control surface. These offer direct access to each individual sound shaping parameter of the synthesis engine. The ’14 Analogsynthesizer is perfectly suited for distinctive solo and bass sounds including dynamic and individual sonic variations which are completely under your control at any time. There a hundreds of work steps from the assembly of the circuit boards to the final rigorous quality assurance of the finished instrument. Without exception, these steps are carried out with skilled craftsmanship and expert precision in our Elektroakustische Manufaktur in Erlbach, Germany. Each ’14 Analogsynthesizer is an outstanding instrument and leaves our manufacture as one of just 222 units.

PERfourMER MKII Endless source of inspiration.

Once you’ve startet playing around with the PERfourMER MKII you probably will forget about time… Its simple, yet powerful structure and user interface allows diving into creativeness without thinking about features and technology. The PERfourMER MKII consists of four individual synthesizers, each with one oscillator, a superb lowpass filter, VCA, LFO and envelope generator. What may sound a bit too conventional reveals its power in combining two or more of those synthesizer-channels, be it by using cross-modulation between them or by using unison, rotating or even polyphonic voice assignment. The PERfourMER MKII is available with optional CV/Gate inputs and can be pimped with beautiful wooden side panels.

Kick Lancet focuses on producing fat and deep bass drums. Its circuitry is inspired by the KICK- and DRUM channel of our famous DRM1 MKIII, so it offers lots of parameters to trim the sound to your liking. Kick Lancet can be triggered by various sources such as MIDI, audio or analog gate signals.

When we started to reintroduce the brand VERMONA, the DRM1 was our ďŹ rst ever released product. Needless to say that we are proud it still has relevance on the fast changing market. DRM1 MKIII offers eight instrument channels dedicated to produce percussive sounds in best electronic manner. Seven sound-shaping parameters per channel, directly accessible through their own control elements, invite you to play around and discover your own drum- and percussion style. DRM1 MKIII is available as standard-version with MIDI as well as with additional gate inputs for each instrument-channel to integrate it into your analog setup. For those of you who like it special and glittering, we also offer a deluxe-version with VERMONA chrome knobs. The DRM1 MKIII can be pimped with beautiful wooden sides as well.

Stereo spring reverberation for highest standards.
We designed the DSR-3 to deliver stereophonic spring reverberation for professional users. Furthermore, we couldn’t resist adding creative potential to the unit by including additional operating modes for parallel and serial use. Each channel offers a two-band-equalizer with BASS and TREBLE controls being carefully matched to the specific frequency range of the springs. For a great stereo experience the spring tanks are manually checked, selected and paired with greatest care. Using the DSR-3 allows creating highest quality lush and full reverberation effects with depth and vintage charm of days gone by.

We created ReTubeVerb with enthusiasm and great devotion to become an uncompromising unification of valve-technology and mechanical reverberation. Its circuitry preserves the character of the input source and, at the same time, refines it with that typical soft compression only real tubes can deliver. The particular characteristics of the spring can be efficiently adapted to your sonic needs by a musical three-band-equalizer. ReTubeVerb shines in beauty but even more by its robustness and its daily usability.

A unique team play of spring reverberation, analogue multimode filtering, distortion and VCA, modulated by an ultra fast LFO and an envelope that can be triggered in flexible ways – Retroverb Lancet offers a comprehensive arsenal of many-sided effects for different applications. The spectrum by far surpasses classic reverberation, filter sweeps or overdrive because you are able to tweak and bend any parameter fast and intuitively to your liking. Retroverb Lancet will change the way you work with effects. It becomes part of your sound engine, fires it up and will end up as essential part of your sonic signature. On top of that, Retroverb Lancet allows you to create percussive sounds using its unique crash function to trigger the springs of the reverb tank manually or by gate signals.

Filter Lancet offers Retroverb Lancet’s comprehensive filter-, VCA- and drive sections with all the modulation features, leaving out only the spring tank. It allows creating diverse effects ranging from classic filter sweeps to wah- and tremolo-sounds and more. (Re-)triggering the LFO and envelope generator by various sources makes it great for rhythmical effects as well.

Action Filter 4 Proven creative tool for live applications. Originally started as DJFilter, the Action Filter is now available in version 4. Constant improvements over the years make it a reliable partner for any live filtering purpose. The Action Filter 4 gives you two big cutoff knobs for adjusting the upper and lower frequencies of a notch- or bandpass filter - all in stereo, all with 24 dB per octave. Its TRIGGER BYPASS with the large rock-solid and smooth trigger button allows you to create rhythmical effects by manually cutting in- and out the effect. In return to its features it demands for your action: No LFO or envelope generator will automate any filter sweep for you. It is an instrument that wants to be played by the artist.

randomRHYTHM Rhythm is no accident but planned randomization.

randomRHYTHM is a random-based trigger sequencer with a unique concept. You control the probability for quarter-, eights-, sixteenths- and triplet-events, while the module creates rhythmical patterns based on these settings. It can either run in live-mode or you can dice 4/4- or 3/4-beats. Rhythms and clocks can be manipulated by itself or other sources, via the RESET input that can mute and/or restart the rhythm sections of randomRHYTHM. Thanks to its two-channel concept and individual outputs for each note value it can be used to trigger various destinations. It is also a precise clock source to synchronize various other clock-dependent modules. Creating your patterns or parts of it with randomRHYTHM is fun and leads to predictable unpredictability with rhythmical reference.

twinCussion Infos & Demos
Dynamic drum- and percussion generator.
twinCussion is our way to bring percussion into the eurorack modular system. We could have easily transformed the DRM1 MKIII instrument channels into modules, but instead we started designing a new module from scratch. twinCussion offers two nearly identical sections, each with an oscillator, a VCA and an envelope generator. All elements are specifically targeted to create convincing percussive sound material. The oscillators cover a huge frequency range while the envelopes react ultra fast. A noise generator as alternative to the second section’s oscillator completes the feature-set of twinCussion. For maximum flexibility, both sections can be used individually or in common. twinCussion generates pushing bass drums, prominent snares and chirping hi-hats with ease. And there is much more when using a little creative patching. Unleash numerous sounds like wooden clicks, metallic pings and a lot more.

uniCYCLE The uniCYCLE everyone can ride.

Huge sound doesn’t necessarily require a huge form factor. uniCYCLE is a small-sized oscillator module with lots of functionality and more than that: huge sound. It offers a total of six waveforms, three of them adjustable in symmetry/pulse-width. This alone is a great source for various sound possibilities. Inputs for linear and exponential frequency modulation as well as hard- and soft-sync extend these possibilities many times over. With four sophisticated control elements, uniCYCLE is intuitive and easy to use. You can get sweet tones as well as harsh sounds out of this tiny oscillator module. It is a great choice as a ďŹ rst VCO module as well as a reasonable addition to already existing oscillators.

tVCF-Extension is an optional expansion for the twinVCFilter. It offers individual outputs for each filter mode plus dedicated notch outputs as well as two additional CV inputs with polarizers. A great way to improve the possibilities of twinVCFilter!

If filtering is the task, twinVCFilter will do it. If percussion is the task, twinVCFilter will do it as well. twinVCFilter is a superb analog dual filter module. Each filter section offers a multimode filter with a slope of 12 dB/octave for low- and highpass and 6 dB/octave for bandpass. You can link both filters and combine them with three different routings. The filter module is completed by various CV inputs and a unique voltage controlled mix section. twinVCFilter’s resonance was designed with musicality in mind. It can produce sweet percussions and deep kick drums when being triggered through the audio inputs. So, besides using the twinVCFilter for classical filtering of any signal, it can be a beautiful sound source as well. twinVCFilter is not just one more filter module in the eurorack landscape. It lets you discover a whole new range of possible use cases for filters.

twinVCAmp is a high-grade double VCA module. It offers two channels that can either work with exponential or linear characteristic. VCDrive is a voltage controlled distortion module suited for all kind of signals within your modular system. The large sonic spectrum of VCDrive ranges from slight fattening of audio signals to intense overdrive. At the same time, it will always preserve its elegant basic nature. This module is not a brutal destroyer, but rather an enormous muscle pack with a classy core.

fourMulator More than just four LFOs.

Need some cyclic modulation in your eurorack system? Then fourMulator is your choice! On top of being four LFOs, the module also functions as a precise clock and trigger source. The four modulation generators can run free or be synchronized in various ratios to an internal/external clock. They can even run in sync to each other with adjustable phasing. With the start of each waveform fourMulator generates a trigger event or can create a trigger sequences by using multiple synchronized modulation generators. As a result, you can also use it to generate repetitive rhythmical patterns. To get even more complex results, each modulation generator has inputs for external CV modulation and reset.

qMI 2 Get your MIDI data into your eurorack with ease.

With qMI 2 you can transform MIDI information into analog gate- and CV-signals. The module offers four channels that can either be used individually or in combination with unison, polyphonic or rotating voice management. Beside the common outputs for gate and 1-volt-per-octave, each of qMI 2´s channels can convert two additional MIDI controllers such as pitch bender, modulation wheel, aftertouch or CC#7 to analog voltages. Three clock outputs with adjustable clock division can be used to sync other modules to the MIDI clock. The module is completed by a reset output to start/stop sequencer modules and a gate input to change the internal play mode. qMI 2 is more than just the sum of four MIDI-to-CV-converters in one module.

quadroPOL is a four-channel polarizer module that can attenuate any incoming signal, in-phase or out of phase. One of its most special features is the way each channel’s level control works: Instead of having one dedicated zero-point, it has a “dead zone” where the input signal will be completely suppressed. Thus, you will easily find the off-position – even without a center-click. At the same time you’ll be able to create extremely sensitive level increments. Thanks to its extraordinary audio quality, quadroPOL can be a big helper in many patch situations. It can work as quad VCA, attenuator/attenuverter, mixer, DC source … It’s like a Swiss army knife for your eurorack system.

Modular Case 104 Bundle Living in style. The Modular Case 104 Bundle is the „home sweet home“ for your eurorack modules that already comes with a bunch of functionality. Beside its strong power supply with 2500 mA per rail (plus additional 500 mA for the +5V) it comes pre-configured with three 1-unit dual attenuator modules, that can also work as 2-in-1-mixers, as well as a versatile dual multiple/inverter. Functions you can never have enough of in a modular system. The housing itself is made of beautiful oiled walnut wood which makes it easy to explain your partner why it has to be part of your living room.
