Studio HIVE is commenced by two Architects who believe in the absolutism of good design and how the world is in dire need of architecture that responds to human and nature. It requires architects who think about designing spaces that amalgamate into the memory of the user.

OUR PHILOSOPHY We believe that architecture is all about creating an experience. It is the journey through a structure that creates the most impact on the user and this experience is something that stays with them for a very long time. We aim at Experience! We aim at Spaces!

01 BUNGALOW AT KARJAT

BUNGALOW AT KARJAT The design concept for this bungalow is to maintain a traditional take on the exterior whereas to create a modern contemporary look for the interiors. The facade demonstrates the use of wooden jali, sandstone, white plaster and white stone clad. The large windows on the ground oor, open up the interiors to exteriors creating a lucid transition between the indoors and outdoors. The structure has large openings mostly on the north east and the south east to let in diffused natural light. On the other hand smaller opening are designed on the south west facade for optimum wind circulation. To create a further depth in the space, internal balconies are introduced to keep a connection throughout this multi-leveled structure.
