2021 ANNUAL REPORT OUR MISSION IS TO OPEN FOOD PANTRIES AND ERASE THE FACE OF HUNGER IN THE PHILIPPINES.
OUR MISSION & GLOBAL IMPACT MORE THAN 64% OF FILIPINO HOUSEHOLDS ARE FOOD INSECURE. IN 2021, MORE THAN HALF OF FILIPINOS STILL LACK RELIABLE ACCESS TO A SUFFICIENT QUANTITY OF AFFORDABLE, NUTRITIOUS FOOD. WE'RE MAKING A DIFFERENCE BY DELIVERING MEALS DOOR-TO-DOOR AND WE NEED YOUR HELP.

It was then that Josephine Bryan founded Hunger-Free Philippines, a global nonprofit organization dedicated to erasing hunger in the Philippines by distributing food to people living in extreme poverty, as well as those affected by natural disasters. With the help of loyal supporters, she’s created a network of passionate Hunger Fighters and Hunger Heroes, who are the lifeblood of the organization. We’re looking for more like-minded individuals who want to make a difference in the world by feeding the hungry, building communities, and empowering women.

OUR IMPACT
WE ENVISION ALL PEOPLE OF THE PHILIPPINES HAVING ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE, NUTRITIOUS FOOD.
MORE THAN 39,568 MEALS DELIVERED SINCE 2015 Unfortunately, poverty in the Philippines is more persistent than in other countries in Southeast Asia. Currently, 21.6% of the country’s population lives below the national poverty line. And the poverty rate in rural areas, is higher - 36% - compared with the 13 percent in urban areas. The Philippines also ranks ninth in the world for stunting (reduced growth rate) among children because most of these kids live in poverty. Our goal is to not only provide food, but to make families self-sufficient. This combination of support agendas will not only help to educate households about efficient and healthy lifestyles but develop their own economy to reduce poverty and hunger in the process.
FOOD INSECURITY IN THE PHILIPPINES With more than 106 million people living in the Philippines and only ONE food pantry, we are on a mission to break barriers to entry for providing individuals with fair and equal access to quality food for their families and loved ones.
