Tags are increasingly used to organize and catalogue digital data.

Image search is a familiar operation, in which a search engine parses through image tags to extract a selection of related and relevant images.

This data visualization project investigates the relationship between the tag and image through combination and manipulation of image search results. Unlike a single image, these abstractions are the product of a collective understanding of objects and emotions. The series reveals textures and colors derived from the original words and images.
