Hey everyone! November's finally here but it's already getting so chillllllly here in the city. Don't forget to bundle up when you go out and stay warm! Thank you to everyone who participated in KC Week, however, keep in mind that these are all things you can do during the other 51 weeks of the year too! It doesn't need to be Key Club Week to thank a fellow Key Clubber or help raise awareness and proceeds for an amazing charity. Also, a big thank you to everyone who came to our past couple of meetings too! In case you haven't heard, committee applications have reopened! We five different committees you can join: Fundraising, New Projects, Social Media, Art, and Locksmith. You can find the application at bit.ly/stuykccommittees and you will have to answer some general and committee-related questions. The applications aren't due until Sunday, November 24th but don't sleep on it

We also held our 2nd club meeting of the year, where we collected Trick-Or-Treat for UNICEF boxes and club dues, and taught you guys what the different levels of the KFamily were. Key Club Week was also from November 4th-8th, but don’t worry too much if you miss it! There’s always next year, and you can also make every week your own Key Club Week :’) Since it is Christmas!

Heyo everybody, How has your month been? I hope everyone had a great month of tests and homework, and of course Key Club! Thanks to everyone who participated in Key Club week whether you wrote a nice letter, or came to the meeting, you made my day! In addition, committee applications have came out, so I hope all of you consider joining one. Joining a committee is a great way to get more involved and even meet new people. It’s so much fun, and everyone gets to work together to make Key Club awesome. Again thanks to everyone who attended recent events especially since it was so so cold the last few days. Hiya Key Clubbers! I hope all of you have been doing well and staying warm despite the colder temperatures! Key Club week was a blast—thank you to everyone who participated! To recap fundraising for the month of October, we had our Taste of Japan Fundraiser at the October Divisional, our Charity Fair, and Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF with StuyUNICEF. Whether you bought sushi, came to the fair, or gave in your UNICEF box at the meeting, thank you so much for taking part in making a difference!
November is a big month, especially for fundraising, so keep your eyes peeled! Future events include our Frozen 2 Fundraiser on November 23rd with Bronx Science Key Club at AMC Magic Johnson Harlem 9, as well as our bake sale at the senior bar on November 26th & 27th in collaboration with Red Cross. We're currently only around $800 away from our fundraising goal of 15K so we're at the final stretch! If you're interested in taking part behind-the-scenes in the functioning of Key Club, consider joining one of our committees! Kudos to all of you Key Clubbers who are continuing to volunteer at events and attend fundraising events! It's not easy and all of us appreciate it so much! Hey Key Clubbers, Wow its getting colder and colder by the day. I hope that doesn't deter you wonderful people from going to more events.we are very close from surpassing our fundraising goal once again but we stil have to work on beating that service hour goal. A great way to rack up more hours is to send in photos and videos. I also encourage y'all to sign up to be project captain, it's a great way to take initiative in Key Club. I know I haven't been really up to date on the website but please look forward to seeing many new changes in the future. Divisional Updates Veterans Day Activity! As you all may know, November 11th was Veterans Day! Thank you to all of the men and women who have served our country. In the spirit of Veterans Day, here is a way you can say thank you: letters to those who have served our nation. This includes new recruits, veterans and first responders. At the November Divisional, we will be making and collecting letters! However, we will be accepting letters until November 24th. Say "Thank You" here!

Thanks for putting up with such an incompetent director like me and still finding events without me reminding y'all every month cause I forgot. Even though we don't have meetings nor is our group chat very active, I still believe that a committee is a committee, and we will help each other out in times of need. Thanks for all your hard work!!!
From Haochen Feng To Everybody in Key Club! Key club is amazing! All of the events were fun and even if “accidents” happen where we have to do extra work, everyone there made it so much more fun. In key club, I have helped people by volunteering and going to fundraisers, these have also always been a distraction to my stress and work! I’m really thankful for key clubs existence and everyone that is in it!

Pier 84, Hudson River Park Volunteers will be greeting runners, checking people in, marshaling, manning hydration stations, helping with T-Shirt distribution, serving breakfast, or wherever needed!
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk Central Park Bandshell Volunteers will be walking to support the American Cancer Society and help raise awareness.
Manhattan Walk to End Alzheimers South Street Seaport Volunteers will be helping to direct people to the event and direct participants on the route.

Halloween at the Garden
Queens Botanical Garden Volunteers will help staff the craft + activity and candy tables, assist with photo booth, and guide people along the trick or treat trail. You are encouraged to dress in a costume!!!
Charity Fair
Stuy Cafeteria Volunteers will be helping to set up and clean up the charity fair, as well as helping to sell tickets and baked goods. In addition, we would really appreciate it if you can bring in baked goods or drinks that we can sell!! (Additional hours will be given!) CAPPED AT 10 VOLUNTEERS!!! But no limit on people bringing food!

By Delia Qiu Our work at the Pumpkin Patch of the Queens Botanical Garden began with setting up the patch and the corn maze. When visitors began to arrive, we greeted them and helped to operate activity booths such as face painting, pumpkin painting, and arts and crafts. I liked that we had the chance to experience the activities for ourselves while helping out. The event was long at seven hours, but the garden generously provided a lunch break and free pizza for volunteers so it didn’t feel difficult to get through. Right outside the patch were stalls that sold lemonade and grilled corn in case anyone was hungry. They were certified by some of our volunteers to be very delicious. As the event came to a close, families left with carefully selected pumpkins and happy smiles on their faces. In the end, I think everyone can agree the event was a huge success. 26

I initially joined Key Club since many of my friends were in it, and I thought that it would be a great way to get service hours as well. I still remember my first event, Walk to Defeat ALS, where Jason asked me to be Project Captain. It being my first event, I was reluctant to say "yes," but of course I agreed. At the event, I was able to rely on other members for help when I was lost in what I was supposed to do. But then this turned out to be the best decision I made, since the event went great, and it opened the door to Key Club for me. Now, Key Club has now become one of my closest families at Stuy, from me asking Key Clubbers to go to events together to bothering them about my homework. Some of my closest and dearest friends are from Key Club, which made my experience at Key Club even more meaningful. Not only do I now want to involve myself more in Key Club, I am also trying to go to more events to meet more Key Clubbers. I now regret not joining Key Club earlier, but it's better late than never. I can't wait to see how the rest of my Key Club career will unfold!!
