PAY HOMAGE TO A FASHION LEGEND

Invest in the White Shirt Project, who pays tribute to Karl Lagerfeld with Kate Moss, Carine Roitfeld and 5 other well known fashion influencers designing a limited edition white shirt in his honour. is dressing up back in fashion?

We don't follow dress codes anymore. Everything and anything goes. Gone are the strict dress codes of yesteryear, instead replaced by whatever we feel like wearing on the day and for an occasion. Whether we work and live in a creative environment or a more conservative area, it doesn't matter - we wear what we like and represent who we are and perhaps what we feel comfortable in - and so it should be, but does that mean not making an effort anymore or not taking pride in our appearance? Have we become so vain as a society that we care obsessively what other people think or are we just plain lazy?

"PLAYING DRESS UP BEGINS AT AGE 5 AND NEVER REALLY ENDS" - KATE SPADE Quite the opposite actually, dressing up has always been in fashion. What we wear does not matter and no one cares, so wear what you love and make it as extravagant as you wish! Anything goes, there are no rules! A ballgown on your commute to work? Why not? Feathers and sequins during the day? Yes! Bright red lipstick to the supermarket? Sure!
