Support Springhill Hospice in 2023

TAKE ON THE YORKSHIRE THREE PEAKS FOR SPRINGHILL HOSPICE

Springhill supporters are masters of tackling fantastic challenges to help raise vital funds for the Hospice. In 2022, over 50 intrepid walkers laced up their boots and took on the Yorkshire Three Peaks for Springhill Hospice.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks entails a challenging full day circular route of hill walking in the Yorkshire Dales; approximately 24 miles in length with an elevation gain of over 1000m. Starting and finishing in Hortonin Ribblesdale, supporters will climb the summits of Pen-y-Ghent (694m), Whernside (736m) and Ingleborough (723m). The challenge is to complete the walk within the 12 hours, and qualified and experienced guides will be with you every step of the way.

Springhill hopes to beat last year’s number of walkers, and set a new record for highest number of supporters taking on the Yorkshire Dales for the Hospice. The Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge will take place on Saturday 29th July, please visit springhill.org.uk/yorkshire-threepeaks to register!

Springhill Hospice has supported innumerable patients and their loved ones for the past 30 years, as thousands of people have found solace through the incomparable free services, care and compassion they provide.

However, the future of palliative care in Rochdale looks bleak, as Springhill Hospice enter a £1 million shortfall in 2023. Worries for the future of the Hospice have never been so high and Springhill Hospice is in a position that, due to their current financial situation, vital services may have to be cut to prevent total closure.

Those who are able to give a regular gift to the Hospice, can support the current running of services on an ongoing basis. Every gift, no matter the size, will help Springhill Hospice to continue to provide care and support to patients and their loved ones, who are going through the most difficult time of their lives.

POP INTO COFFEE @ THE CRAVEN

Springhill Hospice’s much loved coffee and gift shop, Coffee @ the Craven invites you to visit them to enjoy their new menu and support the Hospice.

The new menu includes breakfast, lunch, a variety of hot beverages and delicious cakes and delicious daily specials.

Their Afternoon Tea includes a selection of delicious cakes, scones with cream and jam, a variety of sandwiches and a pot of tea or coffee for £15 per person. You can upgrade your drink to a luxurious hot chocolate or speciality coffee for an additional £2. Afternoon Teas must be prebooked.

Coffee @ the Craven also offers venue hire (with catering option), as they have a wonderful, large space that can accommodate up to 60 guests for private functions.
