STYLING TIPS

with Mark Ferguson

Finding your perfect wedding suit

With love in the air, there’s no better time to focus on wedding suits. Not sure what you’re after? I’d recommend asking yourself these questions first: What time of year is your wedding? What is the wedding theme? Colour and formality of your partner’s outfit? What is the bridal party wearing? Dress code on your invitation? Do you want a suit, sport jacket/chino or dinner suit?

Your answers to these questions form the style direction of your wedding suit and narrow down your options. To assist, I’d recommend looking at photos of previous clients at your venue. Creating a Pinterest board will also assist in collating your thoughts and ideas and assist your tailor in creating your perfect wedding suit.

Our wedding clients are embracing more colour and texture than ever before. People are veering away from blacks, blues, and greys, and are choosing options that show their personal style. With the largest fabric range within Brisbane, you’ll sure to find something you love at Wil Valor.

Host your next event like a pro

First function fears, be gone! The Christmas tan is starting to fade and the bikinis are back in the cupboard. We’re getting back into the swing of things, so there’s no better time to plan 2023 functions First function fears are a thing of the past when you follow these three easy steps:

1. Vibe – to create the vibe, you need a theme. Choose from a colour, such as Vivid Magenta (the 2023 colour of the year), a movie theme – think Barbie, Moulin Rouge or 007, or a decade party (80s never fails!)

2. Activity – perhaps a fabulous fondue creates conversation, or is it a game night? Trivia or cards followed by late night Twister? When it comes to adding an activity, the options are endless

3. Look – lastly always dress to impress. As the host, you set the tone for the night. Make sure that every guest does a double take on arrival.

The key to success

Considering selling your home? Whether you’re upgrading the family home or downsizing, choosing a good agent is key and a w investment in your property journey.

Below are some tips to keep in mind when choosing your real estate partner:

• Make sure they communicate clearly and regularly with you, and are proactive in the sales process

• They listen, really listen to what you need

• They are clientmotivated and understand why you’re selling your home, as it will create genuine authenticity when dealing with potential buyers

• They know the local area

• They understand your time frame

I’d also recommend asking for the contact details of their last 20 clients –a brilliant agent will always be happy to share past clients as a reference.

Nowadays, the Rolex Datejust comes in a variety of colours, from gold, two-tone gold, or stainless steel, and ranges in sizes from 28mm to 41mm.
