The Renaissance Year

Hi readers, thank you for taking the time to pick us up. Although this weather is still very much at chill factor, we hope wherever you are you can relax and indulge in this edition. We welcome you then to our 19th edition and first issue of 2023.

Upon hearing the news that Beyoncé is set to tour and head to our Welsh shores, here at the Style of the city office, we knew we had to rearrange our plans, ensuring our favourite global superstar graced our front cover. Like many of you, Beyoncé's music has been a pivotal sound in my growth, from belting Destiny’s Child songs out, to being ‘Crazy in Love.’ There has always been a song that either gets us dancing at weddings or one that nurses a broken heart.
