n a note regarding the RENAISSANCE album, Beyoncé shared an open letter with her fans. She states: “Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving.

My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgement. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration.” Beyoncé ends her open letter with: “To all my fans: I hope you find joy in this music.

I hope it inspires you to release the wiggle. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and sexy as you are.

Love y’all deep, B.”

With many collaborations and input from other artists on the RENAISSANCE album, there’s also potential for some very special guests to join her onstage. Grace Jones being a firm favourite here at Style of the city, Studio 54 style! Beyoncé is now the biggest Grammy award winning artist of all time, with hits spanning well over two decades. Noted for her boundary-pushing artistry, Beyoncé continues to supersede her levels of success with each new album and tour. She is not only a cultural icon but has become imbedded within our psyche. For the many ‘BeyHive’ fans (and there is many) she is the epitome of iconic. There are probably only a handful of superstars whose star is defined by first name only, Beyoncé is now at the top of that list, having broken the ultimate record of Grammy wins, making her truly a global superstar.

As with previous tours, Beyoncé will make her mark offstage, too, with BeyGOOD, the initiative she founded in 2013 to support people and programs around the world. BeyGOOD will continue its legacy of philanthropy, building out this focus on economic equity by supporting organisations that serve marginalised and underserved communities with access to scholarships, opportunities for internships that lead to job placement, and resources to support entrepreneurship.

In various cities throughout the tour, BeyGOOD will support entrepreneurs through Black Parade Route luncheons, celebrating small business owners, with grant opportunities being awarded and a foray of services with global partners to promote business sustainability. One thousand small businesses will be supported with a commitment totalling one million dollars.

BeyGOOD will also support students through scholarship funds that will be given to colleges and universities in ten different cities along the tour. Each school will be given one hundred thousand dollars and will select the student recipients. BeyGOOD’s total scholarship commitment during RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR will be one million dollars.
