COME OUT WITH PRIDE

FESTIVAL

Celebrating it’s 18th year, Come Out With Pride Orlando is returning to beautiful Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando on Oct. 15, 2022 — and we are all invited to join the festivities.

This is one of the largest Pride festivals in the Southeastern U.S., this year’s edition will feature entertainment for the whole family, as well as food, vendors and its signature event, The Most Colorful Parade, presented by Winn-Dixie, plus much more. The festival is free to attend, with optional upgrades and VIP experiences also available.

This year’s theme is “A Place for Us’’ — reflecting the LGBTQIA+ community’s united stance against the current challenging climate. Come Out With Pride Orlando 2022 is also aligning with National Coming Out Day (Oct. 11, 2022) and National Gay and Lesbian History Month throughout October.

More importantly, it’s a fun event for everyone to enjoy, regardless of age, gender identity, gender expression, race, ability or sexual orientation. You won’t want to miss a second of it!

Come Out With Pride, Inc. is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization inspired to make an impact in Orlando’s LGBTQ+ community.

Celebrated in October, Come Out With Pride welcomes everyone from Central Florida and beyond to come together and #KeepDancingOrlando! They are dedicated to supporting the community through grants and scholarship programs.

“As we adapt to new challenges and accomplished achievements, our mission for this year is:

To produce an annual pride event that fosters a sense of community, encourages LGBTQ+ citizens to live openly and with pride, and educates the general public of our shared cultural heritage.

To encourage fellowship and support among participating businesses, professionals, individuals, and charitable pursuits in the LGBTQ+ and allied communities.

To oppose prejudice in society at large and within the LGBTQ+ and allied communities on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity.

To foster communication, tolerance, and mutual support among LGBTQ+ persons and the allied communities.

To provide positive role models in the LGBTQ+ and allied communities.

To provide financial support to other LGBTQ+ oriented non-profit organizations in the local area through the making of grants made possible by the proceeds from each year’s event.”

Central Florida Air & Space Show 2022

The Orlando Air & Space Show soars over Orlando Sanford International Airport on October 29-30, 2022 when the AirDotShowLive Tour returns to Orlando featuring the Air Force Thunderbirds!

Guest can choose between VIP where they get the bet viewing experience at the air show center featuring a catered lunch with tents and tables for dining or just taking a break from the sun. The beverage bar will be open all day long including beer, wine, soft drinks and water. GA is $35 and preffered seating is $69.

When you’re ready to watch the show, enjoy the comfort of reserved seating by party with aisles in between you and other spectators.

MONSTER JAM CELEBRATES 30 YEARS

That time of the year has arrived. Monster Jam is returning to the City Beautiful. This time around Halloween. And we are ready!

This two-day championship is the biggest event of the season and showcases the best trucks and drivers in Racing, Freestyle, High Jump and Skills competitions. Experience unforgettable encores celebrating Monster Jam’s 30th Anniversary and Grave Digger’s 40th Anniversary. Plus, the largest Pit Party of the year, where you can meet the drivers, see the trucks up close and enjoy many other family-friendly activities – all included in the price of your ticket. Doesn’t get better than that!

Purchase your tickets for both days and don’t miss a minute of the incredible action! Monster Jam World Finals. Monster Jam happens on Saturday, Oct. 29 at Camping World Stadium.

HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS

The reoccuring nightmare

Just like your recurring nightmare, Halloween Horror Nights returns year after year to haunt Universal Studios Florida. From the terror-filled haunted houses to the sinister scare zones, learn what you should expect and how to navigate this popular event! The event runs select nights from September through November. In 2022, Halloween Horror Nights kicked off Sept. 2 and will run until Oct. 31. For the first time this year, the event now runs from 6:30 p.m. until 2 a.m. every Wednesday to Sunday (except Sept. 14) and on Halloween night! While all nights are popular, the crowds generally increase as it gets closer to Halloween. Though this year, considering the event returns to “normal” for the first time since 2019, coupled with the general trend of increased travel in 2022, we expect a busier than normal season.

Drawn to Life

In this first-ever collaboration between Cirque du Soleil, Walt Disney Animation Studios and Walt Disney Imagineering, journey into a world where an animator’s desk becomes the stage and drawings come alive. The show is a celebration of life, accentuated by the delightful, mesmerizing movements of Cirque du Soleil’s acrobatic mastery. Tickets are sold by Cirque du Soleil. Purchase tickets online from Cirque du Soleil. Guests under 18 years of age must have parent or guardian permission to call. Advance reservations are strongly recommended.

Oktoberfest in Orlando and where to celebrate!

Oktoberfest is held annually in Munich, Germany to celebrate Bavarian culture with a 16-day folk festival (running from late September to early October). Sure, a date night abroad would be awesome, but you can enjoy German-inspired brews at one of the many Oktoberfest events in Orlando. And thankfully these events in Orlando span from late September all the way to the end of October.
