Welcome to your Thirty-One Hostess packet! Thank you for taking the time out of your schedule to invite me to share my Thirty-One business with you & your friends ... get ready to BE REWARDED! The date & time I have reserved especially for you is: DATE & TIME: ____________________________________________________ I want you to be successful and will be here every step of the way to support you in meeting your goals. That is why I am sending you some tips to help you plan and prepare for your party. If you have any questions along the way, please feel free to contact me anytime. Here are a few things I would like you need to know:
I will require a table of some kind – dining, kitchen table or island, or a coffee table works well.
I will arrive about 30-40 minutes prior to the show to set up and chat with you.
Make a “wish list” of the items you’d like to get for free and half price because we will close your show no later than 2-3 days following your party date. Please have any outside orders and payments ready for me the night of your show. Your guests that make the time to come to your party will appreciate getting their products as quickly as possible. The average hostess earns $100 in free items with 2 half price items, 2 Hostess Exclusive items, and a hostess special. Many hostesses earn much more than the average, especially when you add in the Customer Monthly Specials! Let’s work together so that you do too!
Invite guests: As a rule of thumb, take 4 minutes to think of 40 guests. Why 40? Because usually only 25-30% of those you invite will attend. When you invite 40 guests, Thirty-One has found that to be the ‘magic number’ to ensure your party’s success! Since this is a home party, you can use online resources like email, Facebook and Twitter to send your invitations and even if they don’t have a physical catalogue or come to your home, they can review the catalogue online and place an outside order. Also enclosed are some mini catalogues you can use as invites to mail out to your guests if you would like to use them. This is helpful for those guests who have not yet heard of ThirtyOne! Text or email me and I send you a personalized Red Stamp invite that you can use for all those VIP guests that you have cell phone #’s and emails for. These are the guests that you wouldn’t want to party without! You should always personally invite those 12-15 guests that you really want joining you to make sure they feel special!
Collect orders: For those customers who do not wish to place their orders online, I have included paper order forms for completion. Order totals are calculated using 15% of the total for shipping. For example: Product Total* $ 20.00 Shipping (15%)** + 3.00 Retail Total $ 23.00 Tax (13%) __ + 2.99

Guests that cannot come to your party can order online at my website www.StylishlyOrganized.ca. They just go to “My Events”, find your party and click “Shop Now”. It’s very simple and easy but I do find that those Hostesses who collect the orders personally get more! Get as many outside orders as you can before your party. These really boost your sales and help you get even more FREE and half price items! I accept credit cards, cash, EMT or cheques made out to Liz Thompson. Payments are due at the time of purchase. If they would like to pay by EMT, they can send it to StylishlyOrganized@outlook.com (For the secret question, please ask them to use “What is the hottest new home party business?” Answer: “ThirtyOne”). Collect at least $200 in orders before your party, and I will reward you with a special gift at your party valued at 10% of the value of those outside orders! Thirty-One is all about Celebrating, Encouraging, and Rewarding women, and this is my way of rewarding YOU! Please let me know the night before your party what your total is.
Personalization: Not all of our items can be personalized…check out the personalization page in the back of the catalogue for details. Personalization is $7-$10 and Icon + personalization is $10. If there are any questions on personalization, please feel free to contact me. Also, all of the products are listed in the ‘shopping guide’ in the back of the catalogue. This shows you what patterns those products come in as not all of our items come in every pattern.
Find people to book a party from yours: Make sure to let you friends know about all the great rewards you are earning through this party. I reward my Hostesses for home party referrals!
Close out your party: I will combine outside orders with any orders that were placed online and the orders placed at your home party and submit your party for processing. I will keep you updated in the rare instance of any backordered or stop-sell items should they affect your party. I can generally give you a date as to when an item will be back in stock.
Remember when you are totaling up any outside orders; add the 15% shipping then your percentage provincial sales tax. If someone wants to have their order sent directly to them there is an additional $6.50 shipping fee. Otherwise, the orders will be shipped to you. If you have an order from someone out-of-town make sure you have their order sent directly to them (unless you will be seeing them and they wish to wait to receive their order ). Please take the time to double check any personalization to make sure spelling is correct. All order forms must have a phone number and email associated with them in case I need to contact a guest directly with a question related to their order. As a Thirty-One hostess, you are an important part of our family and I thank you for opening your home to your guests and myself.
