Synesthesia is a neurological condition in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to automatic, involuntary experiences in a second sensory or cognitive pathway. People who have this are called synesthetes.
This issue of Synth'Zine talks about Ordinal Linguistic Personification or OLP. It is
a form of Synesthesia in which anything that comes with a pattern or can be classified into the following categories such as: colors, numbers, time units, and letters are associated with distinct and discernible personalities.
In this issue, I have personified things from our day-to-day encounters such as the game of Tabola(similar to Bingo) to the James Bond film. I have tried to look at things from a synesthetic perspective and the end result are collages, illustrations and photographs of objects and poeple around me.
