GOLDS, PPO&S REPORT & HERITAGE COMMITTEE
What a Year 2020 has turned out to be. We started our year with our Annual General Meeting in February with President Mark Lawrence in attendance. We were able to have our March meeting with League Coach Beau Wardman as our guest speaker discussing the upcoming season. Little did we know that then a suspension on all activities around the club due to COVID-19. A small season
Ross Lockhart of eight games commenced in August and we had our first Golds Player of the month in Benjamin Newton winning August. September Winner was Kyal Horsley. Our Golds player of the year was Max Walters. My thanks go to the committee members of Golds for their help during the year. Once again we enjoyed the company of Dee Kitson, President and her members of the Ladies Forum at our meetings. We enjoyed a variety of meals at our monthly meeting. A good arrangement for both groups and look forward to continuing this arrangement next year. Ron Tester did a great job in organizing the invitation to players to come along to our monthly meetings. He concentrated in endeavoring to getting along new players so they could get an understanding of what Golds do around the club. We enjoyed the company of Nicholas Martin, Wil Hickmott, Liam Hickmott, Andrew Doyle, Issac Clinch, Lewis Upton and Arron Breman at our September meeting. Normally in September I travel to Kalgoorlie for the Grand Final. Unfortunately, the Kalgoorlie League did not go ahead this year due to COVID-19 restrictions, so I am looking forward to being able to attend their 2021 Finals. My thanks go to President Mark Lawrence, CEO Peter Capes, Football Manager Michael Farmer who was of great help on our meeting evenings and Zac Acott. A special mention to our Office Staff especially Teigan Freeman for her assistance with our monthly notices. Special thanks to Debbie King for her help at each of our monthly meetings and also our BBQ Specialist Mike Bailey. Special thanks go to the TRG for their assistance in setting up on the day of our meetings. Lotto Super numbers is our major fund raiser and to all who supported this, our grateful thanks. We were able to sellout both series of super sixty six which enabled us to raise the funds required to donate $2000 to the Football Department. Thanks also to all those members who donated raffle prizes for our Dinner Meetings. Subiaco Golds congratulate Beau Wardman, on his reappointment as League Coach for season 2021. To all at Subiaco Football Club, the committee and members of Golds I extend my thanks for their support and wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a successful New Year.
