he sting of failure sooner or later touches everyone regardless of thier background, financial status, age or gender. The fear of failure is a common attitude that almost everyone brings to life and all its uncertainty as the years unfold. No one is immune to the consequences of plans gone wrong, dreams left behind, goals unfulfilled, hopes dashed or desires left unfulfilled. Well Valentine tell me, does this all sound negative? Most people see failure as a negative life experience to avoid but in this Love edition of our Informed People Magazine we have chosen to ask you to see failure in a different light. Some of you may find this difficult while other’s totally impossible, but we hope that you will at least give us a chance to lay out our rationales, experiences and approaches to help you have a paradigm shift so that you can love yourself and embrace the growth that comes with failure, the opportunities that it presents and the ability to take charge of your life and its destiny regardless of what crosses your path whether a career, relationship, financial or personal situation that you beforehand would have avoided, felt helpless or given up. We have all had our share of failures and their corresponding fallout, consequences and often even public scorn but in the end our failures more than our successes have molded us into what we have become and we freely admit that without them we would have never had the ability or right to love ourselves and others without judgments. All we ask is that you bring an open mind to the ideas, concepts and principles we discuss in the included articles and linked Big Media USA podcasts. We hope you enjoy your trip to LOVE, success, happiness, inner peace and wealth as you overcome your unique challenges and yes failures. When we truly Love, What is failure? Well, let’s take a brief look at some of our beloved biggest successes and yes, biggest failures in a variety of areas. Please keep in mind, that in each category listed here there were thousands of people who were judged to have failed and then went on to achieve great success. Before you love and move on, why not think for a few minutes about someone you know personally who has failed and gone on to reach the mountaintop. Remember, that everything that exists today exists because someone failed and kept on trying again and again until they achieved success. Don’t think for one minute that success comes easily and quickly to anyone. If it does beware, it just might be fleeting and not all that rewarding. Success like anything else in life is not a comparison to what others have achieved or not achieved but what you could achieve. Do not be lulled into the trap of thinking that anything worthwhile in life will come quickly or without some pain, disappointment or adversity. I know no one who has Loved and achieved success, wealth, fame or influence who didn’t experience many failures along the way some significant or some minor, but in the end it isn’t the size or degree of any failure that matters but what your reaction and response is to them. In fact the single common denominator in all successful people is the ability to “fail often so they could succeed sooner.”

If you feel as if you deserve that new car, you get it. If way down in your gut, it is your conviction that you are supposed to have it, nothing can keep you from getting it. Allow me to introduce you to REGI’S RELATIONSHIP RECIPE. This philosophy will enhance and empower your feelings of deservedness. 1. Recognition (Visual)---Identification of someone or something or a person from previous encounters. Acknowledgment of something in existence. This brings validity. The perception of something existing or true. Recognize that you deserve this. 2. Realization (Mental)---An act of becoming fully aware of something as a fact. The fulfillment or achievement of something desired or anticipated. This is the state of understanding or becoming aware of something. Realize that you deserve this. 3. Resilience (Emotional)---The capacity to recover quickly from difficulties. This is the ability to spring back into shape, your elasticity. This gives you the capability to recover after deformation caused especially by compressive stress. With resilience you possess the ability to recover from or adjust easily to change. Because of your resilience, you deserve this. 4. Respect (Social)---A feeling of deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements. Respect is a way of treating or thinking about something or someone. This word is also called esteem; it is a positive feeling or action shown towards someone. When you have respect for yourself, you know you deserve everything that comes to you. 5. Readiness (Physical)---The state of being fully prepared for something. The process of readiness involves

recognizing the need to change. The condition of being ready. You are ready for action. Be ready for what you deserve. I want to make a bold statement. “What you feel often determines what you think you deserve.” Isn’t it time to change the narrative that you keep saying to yourself? You cannot achieve in life more than what you believe in your mind and feel in your heart that you deserve. Within you, there is a spiritual subjective intuition that knows instinctively how to position yourself to get what you deserve from the creator. We tend to ignore it. We put our feelings in a cup and get caught up in a rut. You must feel to the creator (the infinite source within you) as if you are the one who is entitled to receive what the universe has for you from what you have created in your good thoughts. Do you want to be loved with an honest tongue and feel you deserve it? Do you want to be loved by someone with a devoted heart? Then you must feel you deserve it. Do you want to be loved by someone with exclusive eyes only for you? Then feel you deserve it. You deserve the mate that you say and believe you deserve. Do you really feel you deserve the mate that you feel you deserve? The Infinite Source is asking you this. Do you feel you deserve what you feel you deserve? I want you to bring yourself to that point that you feel as if you are entitled to have the mate of your dreams manifested and tailor-made just for you. “I want you to know that your spiritual subjective intuitions have and continue to give you instructions and position or loving yourself or whatever is someone else’s belief or opinion that you have accepted as truth” (Louise Hay). You must learn how to get way down there in your gut and start learning how to trust your intuition. Master how you feel on a deeper level. Ask yourself---what do you think, what do you feel, and what do you believe you deserve? It is time for you to give credence, the mental acceptance to what is true and real. Trust that you deserve the mate you want to attract.

Unexpected Bliss A life without limits...

ove Birds flying high, Winston Ben Clements was predicted to live a life of isolation and pain due to a rare bone disorder known as Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI). Despite this, he has courageously and heroically taken a stand for a quality of life that knows no excuses and no limits. Lovely Mayfair shared this about her love, “I met Winston at a personal development event in London in July 2018, we were both on a path of pursuing our respective purposes and building our businesses. We became friends soon after this and it was genuinely refreshing to speak to someone who was on a similar path, even at this stage his personality and way of being inspired me. As our friendship developed, Winston proposed the idea of starting a mastermind group to support fellow entrepreneurs. This venture drew us even closer, and for the first time

I began to picture us being together. Shortly after we ran our first mastermind live event, Winston made his intentions known to me - that he saw a future for us too, and this moment marked the beginning of our romantic relationship. Winston is one of those guys - to know Winston up close is to love him, but it was the evening after we ran our first mastermind event that I realised I was ‘in love’ with him. We spent the whole evening talking, sharing parts of our history that we’d never shared with anyone before. Shortly after this we had a phone conversation that lasted 16 hours (yep). During this chat Winston told me he was in love with me, I didn’t want to say it at time but I felt the same. We discussed getting married in the coming months, and in true Winston fashion - he eventually made it happen.

Winston is my best friend and biggest encourager. It was ultimately for a joint mission to empower people to unlock their God given potential that I believe God joined us together but it’s our connection that makes the journey so exciting. I’m so blessed to be able to do life with someone as kind and as special as Winston.”

Wonderful Winston honestly described his condition. “My infliction, brittle bones disorder is a rare condition that affects about 1 in 20000 people, many of whom do not make it beyond their childhood years. This is because the condition causes bones to be extremely fragile and so even the impact of a fall could potentially be fatal. In my case I have suffered over 200 fractures, and spent a significant part of my life undergoing medical procedures including surgery and rehab to treat my injuries. I was fortunate to win the “family lottery.” I’ve always felt that my family were perfectly equipped to handle the unique challenges of a child with OI. Even from a young age they provided me a strong foundation of physical and emotional support. They also always pushed me and encouraged me to think bigger, and not just settle for a limited lifestyle. I’ve also been blessed with many great friends and mentors along the way, who believed in me, and challenged me to shoot for the stars even when the odds were stacked against me. As a Christian, my faith in God keeps me grounded and motivated and I now believe that my story was given to me as a blessing and not a burden. This motivates me to keep going because I know I have an opportunity and a responsibility to use my situation to create positive change for the next generation.

The biggest challenge with my proposal to my love Mayfair was simply keeping it a secret! The plan was for Mayfair and her family to visit my family for an introductory lunch at my parent’s home. At some point, my sister and cousin provided a distraction by taking Mayfair out of the house - I believe they went to the local store. While they were out, we decorated the space and made it look super romantic ready for me to surprise her as soon as they returned to the

house. Joy, tears, relief, wonder, delight and the presence of God are some of the things I believe we all experienced when I asked Mayfair to marry me. One of the biggest things for me was to honor not just Mayfair, but her family and friends also for raising this incredible human being who had become the love of my life. On our wedding day, I was completely blown 8 Informed People Magazine

away! It had been such a whirlwind journey for us, from the time we got together, through meeting each other’s families, and then getting married in the middle of a global pandemic – August 23/2020. It’s safe to say that when I saw my bride coming down the aisle, the emotion hit me all at once! I guess the most overpowering emotion of them all was gratitude - to be able to have this special day, at a time like this and surrounded by all our loved ones. Click here to view the video! Then just before I was to speak a woman was introduced, my heart skipped a beat as I learned of her excellence. She had so many accolades that I lost count. “This woman must be very outspoken and have much to share,” I thought as I waited with baited breath. Then a soft voice, like that of an angel spoke of Love and kindness, of sharing and believing of faith and courage and of global healing. My tears started to flow it was out of my control. So soft, and so melodic was her voice as this highly accomplished woman spoke, it was as if this goddess was set to music as she gave life to light and love throughout the assembly. “Where have you been my sister,” I thought as chills ran up my spine. This moment in history was extremely special it was as if “two souls were touching,” Dr. Pauline Long’s soul and mine. Dr. Pauline Long is the most celebrated black woman in the United Kingdom / Europe with over 270 awards for her philanthropic work globally. 10 Informed People Magazine

It’s such a pleasure to write about a true to life Wonder Woman known as “Cheryl Womack!” This intriguing lady shared wisdom with me in a Big Media USA, Inc. interview. book written to support Mom’s and their kids to explain that the love is still there even though Mom had to go away for awhile to camp. A series of training materials and workshops are being developed to educate, empower, develop self-worth and to let the women know that there are people who care and that they matter. Cheryl was one of the lucky ones. She was already established in business, had a loving husband and sons who were there for her throughout her time. Not everyone is so fortunate. Families often abandon the member as a result of the separation. It is extremely difficult to hold a family together without communication and a woman is allowed only one phone call per day if she is lucky.

I asked Cheryl how we support Women of Worth wow efforts. What can we do? When we purchase a children’s book the organization donates a second book to a Mom in prison. You can order the book on the website www. womenofworthwow.org Once the structure is in place, we can donate money to help secure housing and basic

needs once ladies are released. Many of these women come out and have lost everything, they have no one to turn to and no where to go. Prison reform is required and man-datory. Yes, this is a hard road ahead. However, in the meantime we can work together with Cheryl and other women who have had similar experiences to make a difference.

Don Green has a new book out and it’s focused on what he learned from his mentor, Napoleon Hill. Don Green, Chief Executive Officer of The Napoleon Hill Foundation, has authored a new book, available for preorder on Amazon and at other fine book retailers. The book, titled Napoleon Hill, My Mentor; Timeless Principles to Take Your Success to the Next Level, shares how Green applied many of Hill’s principles to build his own success. In the book, he shares his personal knowledge of Hill, including stories and insights that have never been published. Green, the son of a coal miner, was born in Appalachia. At forty-one, he became the CEO of a bank on the verge of collapse. He turned the institution around and ran it at a profit for eighteen years until he retired at 60. Don was asked by the trustees of the Foundation to serve as the executive director.

His accomplishments have been matched by his diverse contributions to community and the commercial fraternity. His public offices have spanned a spectrum that included educational institutions, hospitals, charitable causes, community service organizations, and arbitration boards. He served as president of his county’s Chamber of Commerce and president of the Foundation Board of the University of Virginia’s College at Wise—a position in which he still holds. Green is also a board member of the UVA/Wise Board of Trustees. His memberships include the Hoge Masonic Lodge, the Kiwanis Club, and the Shriners movement.

Graduating with a BA (Accounting and Business) degree from East Tennessee State University, Green studied advanced phases of banking at the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers. With banking as his youthful passion, he worked his way up from the bottom rung of the banking industry to bank president and

Green received the Outstanding Citizen of the Year Award in 1996; the Sam Walton Business Leader Award in 1998; the William P. Canto Memorial Education Award in 1999; the Volunteer of the Year Award (University of Virginia) in 2000 and the Helping Heroes Award in 2020 (Helping Heroes, USA.) He organized and was successful in getting the 3-hour credit course, Keys to Success, included in the UVA/Wise curriculum based on the success principles of Napoleon Hill. Green taught the course for several years, and it is still a very popular course with students. Under his leadership, many scholarships have been endowed as well as fully funding the Napoleon Hill professorship in the business department. After almost a year, he had lost 40 pounds naturally, rekindled his desire to cycle as a sport and found cycling to be the ultimate stress relief for a busy executive with an active family. As an anniversary gift fifteen years ago, he surprised me with a trip to Bacara in Santa Barbara for the weekend. This lavish resort was not the only surprise as he also purchased a tandem bicycle, a way to share his rekindled love of cycling with me. I was timid to say the least but accepted the challenge and joined him on a lovely day in July. We rode towards the Ojai Valley, passing orchid farms, polo fields and ending the ride at the original Habit Restaurant for a mouthwatering burger and fries. That wasn’t all, he surprised me again with a couple’s massage and candlelight dinner on the patio – a wonderful finish to my introduction to cycling. 41

I was hooked as well, a bit slower to start, as I did have three children under my care, but began to ride bicycles as sport, not just recreation. I had always ridden bikes, learning at a young age around the neighborhood and loving to ride to the beach as a teenager to gain my independent freedom. But as a workout riding was a new challenge for me. At the time I could not even run around the block without stopping to gain my breath. Cycling showed me a new way to gain back my fitness in a fun and social manner.

My husband would take me out on the Saturday morning group rides, introducing me to local cyclists and showing me parts of our community I had never seen before. Driving around, you follow the shortest route to your destination, while with cycling you follow the best route. It may be the challenging climbs, the best road conditions or even the safest path. I saw parts of the San Fernando and Conejo Valley I did not know existed. Afterwards, I would jump in the car with our children to share the excitement and the new interesting places I had 42 Informed People Magazine

found. A few months later I was surprised with my own road bicycle and quickly increased my fitness by riding alongside my husband and new cycling friends. We used our love of cycling to explore new communities – all across the state and around the world. We have traveled for organized rides including bicycle wine tasting events, charity bike rides, as well as creating our own challenges including European cycling adventures. Our time together on the bicycle is our time, a special way to be together to clear our heads of business or family stress, to clear our bodies of the toxic world we live in and to better ourselves as a whole. The love of cycling not only rekindled the spark of fitness but rekindled our relationship as well. We celebrated our twenty-five-year anniversary this summer riding bicycles in the Central Coast of California, side by side and planning our next twenty-five years together.

I was 60 years young, had been divorced three times, was single for 20 years after the third divorce, and one crazy morning I decided to move to Africa. I had been going on safaris alone with just my Masai Guide as company, no tours, since 1996 and I just needed to be closer to Nairobi so I could venture out more often into the bush.

I had planned on staying for a year. however, as they say, the best-laid plans often go awry and so mine went awry. I ended up buying a home the first 30 days of my adventure and decided that moving back to the states after just one year was not really a great idea, so I stayed a second year. It was towards the end of that second year when I found myself in need of a dinner companion to round out dinner parties. I decided to go on an Online Dating Site to find someone. I had already written several books on relationships and kissing the face-off leads to sex plain and simple. The following morning he emailed to thank me for dinner and went on and on, appreciative and grateful. He never mentioned our romantic moment. So I returned the email with the following: “Thank you for the compliments and I am not sleeping with you.” He apparently picked himself up off the floor and replied that was not his intention. He said he knew something was going on but wasn’t sure what, maybe it was love, and if I wasn’t afraid we could see where it went. I was a bit shocked because I had already made some preliminary plans to return to the states, however, I had seen first-hand the qualities of this man and they were special. One that stood out to me was how he treated others. The person who brought up his car or waited on our table or the uneducated mother of my Xhosa housekeeper, my second mother, who lived with me. He treated everyone with respect, grace, and dignity and that was amazing. I made the decision to stay and see where this relationship would go. I could call him and say how about a movie and dinner and it didn’t mean a movie, dinner, and let me pin you against the wall. It was oldfashioned, to say the least, but we got to know each other and when we finally ended up in an intimate relationship, we loved each other for who we were as people. Old fashioned, but amazing. On December 31, 2004, we married in Africa, in a Fairy Tale wedding in the garden of my home. It was the most incredible day of my life. Looking back, we were like a Royal Couple ascending the rock steps up into the garden.
