The use of alternative fuels supports the government's initiatives toward reducing carbon footprint to mitigate the impacts of climate change.

"By joining forces in the pursuit of greener fuels, our two companies are not only advancing the cause of sustainability, but also paving the way for a cleaner and more vibrant future. Ammonia offers a compelling solution for decarbonizing the power sector and by looking into it, we are taking a step towards developing the infrastructure needed to support the ammonia and hydrogen value chains,"

Aboitiz said.

AboitizPower said applying the greener fuel technology to the existing coal-fired power plants will result in a reduction of carbon dioxide emission by up to 50 percent.

"Through this collaboration, we will support Aboitiz's power decarbonization efforts while also considering additional opportunities for advancing technology development in the Philippines. This MOU allows JERA to leverage its experience and capabilities to support both AboitizPower and the Philippines to reach their emissions targets," Onoda said.

"Of course, the investment is important, but the transfer of technology is also extremely important and that will give the Philippines a selfsufficiency, which we have been missing," he said.

Vaccination is a preventative measure that has been shown to be effective in protecting people from diseases. It also reduces the risk of contracting infectious diseases among learners since it reduces their chances of being exposed to it. It is important for parents to get their children vaccinated as well, as it will protect the children against the virus. There are several different vaccines available to fight against the coronavirus infection. These vaccines are available both for adults and for children to protect them against different types of corona viruses such as 2019-nCoV and SARS-CoV-2.

For learners, vaccination is especially important as they are more likely to be exposed to illnesses. On the onset of in-person class, learners are encouraged to submit themselves for Covid-19 vaccination. Aside from the obvious benefits in health protection, the vaccination serves as proof of one's immunization status to authorities in case of an outbreak of infectious disease in the classroom. The issue on putting the learners and requiring the learners to submit themselves for vaccination remains an issue that triggers different controversies. Vaccination to learners have many controversies. Parents are confused about whether to vaccinate their children or not.

This is because there are two types of vaccinations: mandatory and non-mandatory. Mandatory vaccines are recommended by the government; however, they are only given to children when they are three years old or older.

Non-mandatory vaccines, on the other hand, are optional. Parents can choose to have their children vaccinated with these vaccines or not. However, some parents choose to keep their children away from these vaccines because

Many parents have opposing opinions about vaccines. Some believe that vaccines should be mandatory for all children to protect them from dangerous diseases while other parents believe that they are unsafe and should not be given to anyone. There are also parents who fear that the vaccines could be harmful to their children and would rather leave them unvaccinated instead. but with the onset of in-person classes, pupils vaccinated or not are already allowed to attend schools. Today, it could be glad to note that schools have again opened for learners since educating the children is very important to keep the country from deterioration. This will ensure that learners are motivated to learn the concepts being taught in class and are healthy enough to learn as well.

Parents frequently ask us which type of education is more useful - a quality education or a good education. Although we are aware that social and academic talents vary from child to child, we nevertheless think that early childhood education should emphasize both. The latter is generally best to concentrate on if you have young children. But what if your child finds the first option to be too difficult?

Keep on reading to learn why it's important to emphasize knowledge and social skills in preschool and what you can do to support your child in acquiring these crucial abilities at home.

Knowledge and social skills are the cornerstones of any future academic success in life, as the term implies. What distinguishes us as humans is our capacity for learning through reading, writing, and arithmetic. Understanding other people, their thoughts, and motives, as well as having the ability to communicate

Zone 8 Bulua diversion Road, Cagayan de Oro City and work with others, are all examples of knowledge. The capacity to communicate, engage with people, and get along with peers are all referred to as social skills.

There are couple of reasons why knowledge and social skills are important for preschoolers. For starters, children at this age are still refining their cognitive and mathematical abilities. Children are also developing emotional ties with their environment and peers. Therefore, you may avoid your child from being socially awkward later in life by teaching him social skills at a young age. After receiving a good education in their early years, it's crucial for children to learn how to communicate with individuals of various ages and backgrounds. They ought to be able to communicate with their parents using these abilities as well. This can aid in your child's improvement of impulse control, listening, and communication abilities. Your child is also quite impressionable at that age. You can therefore help him in navigating the social environment by helping him improve his social abilities. In the future, he may feel more assured, have more self-esteem, and be more persistent as a result of this. We believe that both knowledge and social skills are important and can be developed in preschoolers. However, social skills are also better developed at a young age and will keep improving throughout your child's development. You might want to concentrate on the former if you have a young child whose linguistic skills are only starting to emerge. After all, the latter is frequently linked to connecting with others and building lasting relationships. If your child is more advanced, you may help him grow important social skills by showing him how to interact with other kids, use a bike helmet, and ride a bike safely.

BIOINFORMATICS is defined as the application of tools of computation and analysis to the capture and interpretation of biological data. It is an interdisciplinary field which harnesses computer science, mathematics, physics and biology.

An unprecedented wealth of biological data has been generated by the human genome project and sequencing projects in other organisms. The huge demand for analysis and interpretation of these data is being managed by the evolving science of bioinformatics. Bioinformatics is essential for management of data in modern biology and medicine. Analysis of genome sequence data, particularly the analysis of the human genome as drug-free municipalities.

PLt. Gen Rhodel Sermonia, officer in charge of the PNP Office of the Deputy Chief for Administration, also acknowledged the province of Misamis Occidental for its continued support for the anti-illegal drug programs of the DILG and the PNP.

"The presence of the local officials and other sectoral leaders, advocacy support groups, and faith-based organizations shows the strong spirit of voluntarism in Misamis Occidental," he said.

Interior Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr. also discussed the effects of illegal drugs and emphasized the importance of fighting against them.

"What I want is for each and every youth here to shepherd your friends and have the confidence to say 'No to Drugs.' As the police and NBI (National Bureau of Investigation) are working on the ground, we are also educating our youth and teaching them to say no," he said. (PNA)

The report showed banks are anticipating an increase in loan demand as the economy recovers from the pandemic.

“Banks also noted that most agribusiness enterprise projects were not affected by the pandemic while affected borrowers may want to borrow and start business again as the pandemic is getting controlled. Hence, banks could take this opportunity to support financing the sector and increase their loan portfolio and income,” it said.

Banks also cited the need to comply with the mandatory credit allocation under the Agri-Agra law.

The Agri-Agra Credit Act of 2009 requires banks to lend 15% of their loan book to the agriculture sector, with a 10% quota set for agrarian reform beneficiaries.

The report also showed banks would want to help finance farmers to expand their businesses, and to stop farmers from availing highinterest rate loans from informal lenders.

Prospects in the field of bioinformatics include its future contribution to functional understanding of the human genome leading to enhanced discovery of drug targets and individualized therapy.

Last year, it was announced that the entire human genome had been mapped as a result of the efforts of the worldwide human genome project and a private genomic company. However, in recent years, the scientific world has witnessed the completion of whole genome sequences of many other organism. The analysis of the emerging genomic sequence data and the human genome project is a landmark achievement for bioinformatics.

Also, the number of agricultural borrowers served in 2021 was at least 30% lower than in 2020.

“Around two-thirds (65%) of respondent banks still require and accept conventional forms of loan securities from agricultural borrowers, the most acceptable of which remain to be real estate mortgages,” the report said.

Two-thirds of banks said credit support mechanisms such as credit guarantee/loan insurance and agricultural/crop insurance should be in place to encourage increased lending to the sector.

“As the bank supervisor/ regulator, the BSP may calibrate its support to help revive the market-oriented agricultural credit system by enabling a sustainable environment for various support mechanisms to flourish,” the report said.

To regularly monitor emerging trends in agricultural credit as well as the recent challenges and to help calibrate key policies accordingly, the BSP and DAACPC will conduct the 2022 CBS in the second quarter of this year.
