Hi, I am Sudhanshu Singh, a 22 year old undergraduate student currently in my final year. I have a passion for creative feasible architecture design and sustainabilty, while exploring newer outlooks and methods of computation and design. This portfolio is a collection of selected works, as well as personal engagement in other design related works and community projects and competitions. I hope it demonstrated my zeal and enthusiasm for the field of architecture.

The name ‘Cyphire’ is an amalgam of the definition of the age (cybernation) and the building’s façade that uses a diagrid system whilst resembling the look of a sapphire gem and its crystal lattice.
The project Cyphire is a culmination of cybernetics and structural systems. The building chooses to answer the question of which age are we living it by highlighting the importance of cybernetics and devices that will become a part of human life in the future. Cyphire looks to provide spaces that are dynamic in nature while being fully automated by cybernetic devices. It envisions a world where a space transforms to the needs of the user without the user having to use manual energy.

Mokuzai is an ecodesign approach in designing an observation tower using materials that have less impact on the environment. It aims to utilise materials like timber which are readily available, have a longer life-span and are also reusable. The tower would be approximately 70% timber, 20% bamboo, 20% RCC and 10% steel. The foundation would be made of concrete, whereas the diagrid structure would be made of timber. Engineers are developing ways to build skyscrapers largely out of timber, which would reduce construction related carbon-dioxide emissions compared to conventional methods of construction.
