CHAR MIRRE, DHAKA This project, situated directly south of old, historic Dhaka in Bangladesh, is a proposal for an alternative development strategy that utlizes water-based infrastructure to meet the needs of a rapidly growing population. The project develops a strategy for water remediation and water transportation, along with dense zones of development, that changes the dense, urban city’s parasitic relationship with agricultural lands and open space, to a symbiotic one.

SLOW SPACE This project critiques the speed at which we live our lives to fill them with 'doing' and reconsiders the value of slowness and 'doing nothing' within the context of Manhattan. The building strategy draws on the idea of slowness as infrastructure. This is a system that engages scale, light, texture, sound, which activates the space of ‘notdoing’, recognizing that richer experiences and environments can emerge from the dynamic interaction of these phenomena.

OLYMPIC PAVILION, LONDON This permanent pavillion for the 2012 London Cultural Olympiad, is designed as a dynamic environment that serves as a refuge during the busy months of the summer olympics. A green ecology, the connects people with the river, the Underground and the Skyway, sprouts from a bold incision in the flat landscape of the Greenwich penninsula.
