Dreams Resort Cancun
ne thing I really like about the Dreams brand of resorts (family-friendly, upscale all-inclusives) is that each one is so different from the other. You never get the feeling that you are in a cookie-cutter style hotel brand. Each has their own unique appeal and style, and Dreams Riviera Cancun stands apart for many reasons. Don’t let the epic design of the entrance fool you. It is almost imposing in its grandeur, yet once you’ve checked-in, you’ll find that this is a very happy, friendly and welcoming resort despite its impressively chic and luxe lobby. And as with all Dreams resorts, their Explorer’s Kids Club is over-the-top in its comprehensive digs and myriad of ways to entertain your children. That means parents and couples can get away for some adult time on holiday there. In fact, there are all kinds of steamy kid-free spots to canoodle – hot tubs, secluded stretches of white sand beach, and secret hideaways – especially at their world-class spa that has a South Pacific style theme and luxurious water circuit. As for accommodations, we adored

our oceanfront Preferred Club room with a Jacuzzi tub inside and hot tub on the balcony. The pool bar and infinity pools also invited, and the silky sand beach with daybeds were certainly a favorite lounging spot between dips in the sea. The resort, surrounded by lush tropical grounds, was also ideal for rejuvenating eco-walks and nature spotting. But what really impressed us most there was the amazing staff. Typically, there are two things that can turn a great holiday into an enchanting experience. The food and the service. And this place is over-the-top on both fronts. We were so spoiled with fabulous fare, signature drinks and personal attention at every turn it was tough to leave. The vibe at Dreams Cancun Riviera resort is a delightful balance of laid-back yet attentive – a difficult equilibrium to achieve. And if you want a taste of local culture. it’s mere minutes away from the charming little fishing village of Puerto Morales – ideal for a day trip. Visit: www.dreamsresorts.com/rivieracancun.
