All-Inclusive Curacao Escape to Sunscape Resort Spa & Casino
Sunscape Resort Spa & Casino
T
he Dutch Caribbean island of Curacao is idyllic all year round – it’s outside of the hurricane belt and always boasting sunny skies, gentle trade winds and warm clear waters. And one of the best ways to experience it is through one of the island’s only all-inclusive stays – Sunscape Curacao Resort & Spa. Though there are many upscale resorts and unique boutique hotels on this island, I prefer this property for many reasons. First, its location. Sunscape is minutes from downtown Willemstad, a place full of color, culture, history and nightlife well worth exploring. It’s also right next door to the island’s newest surfside party and shopping emporium called Curacao Beach Boulevard. There’s always something fabulous happening there. The second reason? Its location. Sunscape is a short walk away from the Curacao Sea Aquarium and Animal Encounters, which offers a plethora of opportunities to get up close and personal with all kinds of marine life, including dolphins, sea lions, sea turtles, stingrays and even sharks! Sunscape even has

its very own house reef, providing excellent snorkeling and dive instruction opps just steps from your room. Third? Its location. Sunscape is one of the few resorts with a glitzy casino open 24/7 on-site. Beyond its location, there are other reasons to choose this spot for a paradisiacal escape. Their Unlimited Fun ® package covers all the bases, from cool tropical cocktails at six bars to no-reservation-required dining at six restaurants. They also have the island’s only children’s activity day camp – The Explorer’s Club – offering well-supervised and exciting adventures for little ones so that their parents can enjoy some adult time at the spa or beach. And with four pools, a rock climbing wall, hobie cats, and of course the beautiful sea, there’s always plenty to do for all ages. The staff is fun and friendly, and the rooms are well-appointed and comfortable. It might not be the most luxurious resort on Curacao, but what it offers in so many other aspects makes it one of my preferred choices of stays on this gorgeous island.
